I found a way to get back at these A**es when they call. If a computer generated system calls your phone, answer the call and immediately hit the # butted 6 or 7 times in a row. This confuses the computer and it thinks the number is defective. The computer should delete your number from it's file. (Yes, I plagiarized this information, but I don't think the originator will mind).

Number calls, I don't answer... no message is left. No clue who calls and I don't answer strange numbers... guess I'll never know...

I am sick and tired of these people calling my cell phone that costs me minutes I have asked 5 times to have my number removed from their calling list and now they are hanging up on me! Better stop I'm gonna report them

Just had a call from this...with NEW YORK in caller ID, since we have elderly relatives in that state, I had to answer! The recording asked if I was without health insurance. Gave me the option to press 1 for a person or 2 to be removed. I pressed 2, but received NO confirmation that anything happened.

i will just answer and say sheriffs department.. Or like the classic phone prank guy say this phone was found at a murder scene and i need all of the telemarketers info.

They continue to call me and when I call them back it goes to Spring 411 and charges me. These guys are not Sprint either

they want stop calling my cell phone 315-555-1212, they leave no message and when I try to call back I get nothing.................make them stop

getting calls from this number. do not know them. it is a recording about ins. put them on the do not call list  so now it comes in as caller unknown.

This number called me and it says NEW YORK NY. Do these people really think we are a bunch of idiots! HA! I don't answer these calls so you are just wasting your time and money. ! I have the last laugh... ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Cobalt......That is odd.  I did not call you and do not know why I came up as the reverse phone listing for this.  Anyhow, hope the calls stop.

Yes, I pressed 2 many times, to be placed on their do not call list, and they still keep calling.  So I would still report them.

I get the SAME message from those numbers TOO!  Twice a week for the past 3 months.  Finally thought I'd do something about it so I reported them on the do not call registry.  It's becoming harassing, I have a newborn baby and they are calling at all hours!  Anybody, if you get these calls report them on the national do not call registry.  Get them!

Have you hung on the phone long enough to press #2 when the automated machine tells you??  If you listen long enough it gives you the option to press #1 to speak to a rep, or press #2 to be placed on the do not call list.  I have had the same thing happening....but finally hung on the phone long enough today and listened to the entire recorded message....then pressed #2 to be placed on the do not call list with their company

I have gotten several calls and finally picked it up this morning to find out who it is.  Its a recorded message selling medical insurance. If you hang on long enough it gives you the option to talk to a rep or be put on the do not call list....which is pressing #2 when prompted.  If you keep ignoring the calls (like I was doing)...they will just keep calling back....pick it up, and press #2 do not call option when prompted and hopefully they stop calling us.

this number randomly calls my phone causing my disabled mother to get up to try to answer if I am not there.  They caused her to fall because they would nto stop calling.  I am on the do  not call list.  Very irritating for sure.

I get calls from 315-555-1212 and it says "are you one of hundreds of thousands of Americans without health insurance?"    They call from Ft Lauderdale, FL and NY on other numbers (954-681-2940) & (631-758-9845)!  They are all (INS Recorded Messages)!  Contact the "National Do Not Call Registry" and report a complaint.  They need to stop these calls.  I have over 45 complaints registered with the National Do Not Call Registry.

I just got a call from this number too. It came up in a reverse lookup as a "Ben Elisofon" in Waterloo, NY. Are you sure it's Assurant Health? They are my insurer, but I don't know why they'd be calling me. If it was important, they should've left a message.

Called the phone number and was told by directory assistance that someone is disguising their phone number like a telemarketer.

2nd or 3rd call from this number...I've never answered and their has never been a message left.

I just got a call from what my caller ID showed as directory assistance as well.  I have no reason to be contacted by an upstate NY directory assistance when I live in Wyoming. I am sure that its a bogus call...that is why I didnt answer, and no message was left.

Any number that has "555" as the prefix is directory assistance.  The Area Code tells the systems which directory assistance you wish.  That's why it's always used in movies.  It isn't a real phone number.

It's Assurant Health calling people on the Do Not Call list, when you ask where they are located they hang up.
