I have received calls from this company in the past, about once a month and as I am aware it is a sales tactic I ignore their calls. Today was a new one though, they called three times in a row, one right after the other, but did not leave a voicemail until the third call. The message (from Sherry) stated this was in regards to my National Fuel account regarding a rebate check. This was a new one to me, usually it's just a vague message about "your bill". Plan to make a complaint to BBB this time.

received several calls from this number at least once weekly - rep saying it's regarding a "rebate" on our current utility bill. I told her we werent interested-pretty lame as far as a catch goes to me- obviously if you are overpaying and getting a "rebate" from your current utility company they would just send it- She called back & I didn't anwer, but I did contact the American Power Partners in Buffalo and requested not being called back- my time and our availability to our customers is priority. Mr said our company would be placed on a don't call list.

Callers sent to a special extension for telemarketers are from various persons from AMERICAN POWER & GAS calling in regards to National Grid Accounts. In the month of April 2014, we received ten calls - Five different people at five different extensions asking us to call 800-210-9011 and One with the same person calling and leaving messages six times! So sad that Cherie (the girl who called six times) cannot understand that we are not interested. THIS COMPANY IS DEFINITELY HARASSING US. As reported, no one should call these clowns back (Mekei 2/10/14).

I have recieved calls from this number every day for about a week now. I din't answer because I don't recognize the number usually. I did pick up once however no one was there.

^^^ Reading the messages above^^^ I can't believe some people try to call these clowns back. If you don't know the phone # on call ID, then don't pick up and don't call back. Lecture over... Why hasn't NYS AG done anything about these power companies and their harassing tactics? Why do they slip by NY's Do Not Call Registry? I have TWC phone, thinking of forwarding these calls to AG Schnoodleman's (sic on purpose) office phone in Albany.

Just got a call from this number, looking for my boss. The woman that called told me that it is very important that they speak to him and that it is in regards to the Con Ed bill, and when he calls back he should have the bill in hand. When I ask if there is a past due amount, she said no, just please have him call back.
The woman that called said her name was Gena Chong and the number to call back was 1-800-210-9011 ext 4626.

They called our number a few minutes ago. Thank goodness we have caller ID. I did a reverse lookup and saw all the comments above.
No one even answered the phone. They just hung up.
Why bother calling if you are not going to even say your spiel, even though it's a scam of some kind.
Very annoying.

these horrid people call my business at least once a day, nothing but call center echo when I pick up. I am so sick of running to the phone and it is these idiots again. such a waste of everyone's time

Called me again!!! I still will not answer this number. I have them stored in my phone as "WN" for wrong number and set it to a silent ring. I am not going to answer because I do not like sales calls of any kind. I am on the DNC list but that does not seem to matter

Called about a "rebate check" from our current energy supplier. She said that she sees on our bill that we are eligible for a rebate and a lower rate. She then proceeds to ask us to fax a copy of our bill! Also said that she spoke to someone a couple of weeks ago and she's following up, which wasn't true. Sounds like a scam.

Second call from these people. Told them I was not interested in changing providers. They keep insisting it's a rate reduction we qualify for. Very pushy. Will not let go. I told them to take me off the call list, and he still kept talking. I hung up.

This number is for a Energy Supply Company and when they call you, they make it seem like you must call them back because it has to do with shutting off your power/gas. Very deceiving.

I've received several calls from this number and decided to pick up to see who it was. The woman on the other line was incredibly forward, rude, kept pressing me until I asked her where she was calling from and she hung up.
DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL. It is spam.

American Power, and like others before me, they asked me to get my bill. When I indicated I wasn't interested and asked them to remove my number from their call list, he kept talking and I politely indicated I was going to hang up. He then called back immediately twice, which I let go to vm.

I've rec'd several calls from this number recently and just ignored it. Based on the comments from this website, I was aware of what they were trying to sell. Today I decided to answer and spoke with a very aggressive and persistent person explaining how he could save my company money by switching our gas supplier. He asked me to get a copy of our latest gas bill, which I told him I was not going to do and told him he was wasting his time and my time, but he didn't care. When I told him to remove my number from his list, he said he'll mark it down as a "call back." I explained to him that we weren't interested in the $$$ that this program could possibly save us each year. I told him that even if we saved $1,000 a year (after he explained that it could be a $200-300 yearly savings), it would be an immaterial savings to my company, at which point he jokingly said "maybe you could just give me the $1,000 and I'll hit my quota." To that end, he actually thanked me for listening and said he'll take me off his list... we'll see!

I want these calls from 315-571-0756 to stop!!! That number calls my office and as soon as I answer and say hello they hang up. The caller ID only lists Rome, NY. They call at least once a week.

Received a call from this number. The man said it was about a rate reduction on my National Grid bill. We do not have National Grid. Man was pushy and rude when I said I was not interested in talking to him. Would not let it go. I had to say goodbye and hang up.

Received several calls from this number as well. First one I was hung up on after asking a few questions... Second one I did not pick up but was left a voice message. There have been weeks inbetween calls, but it still is very annoying.

Received multiple calls from this number over the past several weeks. I decided to answer and see who it was. The person stated they were from American Power and Gas and made it sound like it was absolutely urgent that I get my utility bill. A minute into his spiel we were disconnected (I did not hang up), and he immediately called back and was irate. Exclaimed that this phone call was very important and not to hang up on him (I didn't). I stated I was reluctant and this call sounded suspicious. He again told me to get my bill. I told him I didn't know where it was, and he sarcastically claimed he could go on hold for as long as it takes since he got paid hourly. His tone was very irate and condescending. I told him that I didn't care for his tone, and I'm not even going to get out of my chair for him. I also told him I didn't hang up on him the first time, but I am hanging up on him this time and hung up.
Added the number to my blocked list. I don't care how much money they can save me, they were very pushy and rude.

My work location just received a call from this very same number. The person on the line (when asked his name-Eric) stated his is calling from National Grid calling about a rate reduction and needs to see if your account qualifies.(I had to ask who he was calling on behalf of and the nature of call.)
I called the number back and it states they are American Power and Gas...so this is actually a sales call.
Type in their company name and 2 complaints have been made with the BBB. Keep calling BBB, maybe more pressure is what they need.

I received a call from American Power and Gas at out company DKM Sales, LLC. A woman who did not give me her name asked for the person who handles the utility bills. I asked if she was from National Grid or National Fuel and she said no. I advised her not to call and that we are not interested. She said "Well i will call you again if i want". That is when i disconnected the call. I do not want these calls. I receive calls constantly.

In addition, I placed Ms. ******'s phone number on our internal Do Not Call List to prevent any future calls made to her.
I took the time to call Ms. ****** to explain to her what actions I took on my end to make sure she would never be contacted by American Power & Gas in the future. I also explained to Ms. ****** that we do consider a Severe violation of company policy not to comply with customers requests.
