i got a phone call from this number they told me the i have to send 230 dollars to get my grant of 9200

THIS IS A SCAM!!!! I called the number and informed them that I am a law enforcement officer and am reporting them. They told me I am "full of f***ing s*** and can't touch them so go ahead and try".This is a random call center they obtain your information through a phishing scam like the promise of money. They are with any ligitimate company. DO NOT GIVE THEM: YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, BANK ACCOUNTS OR ADDRESS! DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY!
Report them to your local police department and put your self on the do not call list.

This number is totally a scam, I reported to my police department, who said they would escalate.  Please share this info with all friends and family.  If it looks like a scam, and talks like a scam and too good to be true--what the government giving away money that doesn't need to be paid back?  -- it is a scam.  They called me back several days because I had not returned their call stopped it once I told them I had reported to local authorities and federal.

called me from 2096825883 and told me to call 3156364531 with my confirmation number on may 3rd I called this number and no one picked up. The same people called me today may 16th from 7705744216 she asked me if I knew anything about government grants and I told her yes and that I found out that this was a scam and that they were stealing money from people. She said ok thank you for your time and hung up.

Anyone getting a call from this number should follow up with a call to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to report a phone scam.  These scams will not stop until they are shut down.  You can go to http://www.ftc.gov and click "contact us" in top right corner to verify their contact number, but I'm providing it here:  877-382-4357.  They investigate fraud.  Also, you can call your state Attorney General's office to report the scam.  One more thing--you can eliminate some telemarketer calls by putting your phone number on the "Do Not Call Registry."  That number is 888-382-1222.  After 31 days if you receive a call from a telemarketer on that list, you can call the Do Not Call Registry back to report the telemarketer.  I believe they get fined if they call.  

A note of caution.  Many scammers take advantage of young and elderly people.  If anyone calls or emails you asking for bank account, Social Security, credit card numbers, hang up and report to the FTC.  No one deserves to be scammed.  Play it smart and keep your hard earned money.

Don't be a victim of fraud.. they can technically get away with this because it is not mail fraud but this is still fraudulent... wanna do something about it? you can always go file a complaint to Western Union...
This was ridiculous.. I called her back and told her i was pissed that she had scammed me and she says in extremely broken english (prolly not American) "who are you talking like that?" I told her I was an American citizen and I asked her if she was.. She said she was and that I could be arrested for talking to her like that because the call was being recorded. I basically just lost it and informed her of my rights as a citizen to basically say what I want.. I did not use profanity but just called her a scam artist and she hung up on me... Got Ya B!

i received a call from mark janson and he told me that i was granted a government free grant and he told me that all i need to do is go to western union and put in 230 to receive the free grant if you receive a call from this number it is scam

Unfortunatly you will never see your money again. There is no way to get it back. But do everything that you can to report this to your local authorities and federal government. Try to keep all paperwork and transfer doc's. Report this to your local news channel so they can get the word out to the masses. It is a very hard and expensive way to learn a lesson.

Got a call from these people yesterday. Like said before one from california and than new yourk. I went along with everything until i was asked to pay 243 for a security deposit to verify that the money is going to whom it should. I asked for a supervisor and was hung up on. I called back and they started all over again as if i was someone they didnt just talk to. I got irate with the woman and a man jumped on and asked me why i wanted him to F*** my wife and daughter. I spoke with my local FBI office and was given the number to call the Federal Trade Commision, where all reporting for this matter should go, along with the phone numbers they called from. Today they called me back and were dead silent, than they hung up. I called back and was put on the line with someone who fell for the scam and told me he paid 800. Thought it was a blessing to have this extra money. Unfortunatly he will never get his money back. While i was speaking with this man the Pakistani's were listening and kept pressing buttons to interupt us from talking. Than one jumped on the line and said i was a scammer and i should be ashamed of myself. People... Read up on these things before you act. Another ploy by terrorists to take your money and build bombs with.

he called me and said i was approved for a free grant from the government but i need to go to western union and pay to $299 to get the free government grant money would you check this man out to make sure hes not doing this to anybody else

-They're calling the US Government.
-I've receive a total of $9,200 money for my family.
-Why I chosen because of people who pay tax or income taxes or some sort like that get chosen every year.
Hhahah...So my voice expression was like really dead sounding like, "uhuh, okay, uhuh, really, okay, nice but I sounded like I don't even care what he is saying...
He went ahead & gave me the phone 315-636-4536 for me to call & claim my prize the along with the Conf. # ID: of WG4006. He repeated the ID again to me. So I wrote it down like he said, playing along. Then he tells me to confirm it, testing to see if I fell for it...Hahah...I knew he would ask that...lol...
So again, he confort me again that don't worry, it's not a scam...It's from the government to me, & I can use that money how ever I wanted. After calling the 315-636-4531, I can go get my money at any western union.

i got a call from this number saying i was choosen to recieve a grant of 9200  all i had to do to get the money wired to me Western Union was to give them my bank information and pay 260 to get the money  when i told them i was going to report them to the FBI website as a scam  they hung up on me   will be reporting them ASAP

I got the call today.... I love how they tell you not to tell anybody because you were specially chosen for the grant.  I will not be calling them, I have better things to do with my time!

Been call me for there day i pick up the phone today and also give me the number to call 315 636 4531 how could then do this  I'm home sick with cancer but i first google  it I could ready use the money But now I know there is no money I was so happy that first  i could have paid some of my hospital bill I guess I will have to do it myself

I just got the call as well first one was a california number 209-682-5883 some east indian told me i got the $9,200 grant  and refered me to the NY number 315-636-4531  that told me to go on down to westen union and and pay the security deposit lol and LOL he just called me back this time the number was unlisted and his name was Anthoney Simpson ! lol asking if i was at western union lol i told him i didn't have enough for the security deposit lol and he said no problem they could hold my application until i came up with it lol i did a reverse look up of the 315 number and it said Merietta NY  wish i was closer !

I am so sorry that happend to you I just got the calls as well and was checking on here  oh hun you should at least notify law enforcement   im very sorry this happend to you

No one got the grant.  No one will ever get the grant.  The government is not giving money to anyone.

Any money you wired anywhere is gone.  You will never get it back.  The scammers will call or e-mail you asking for more money.  Do not give it to them.  NO ONE IS GIVING AWAY FREE MONEY!

There is no grant. There is no money to receive. It is a SCAM! You've been taken by a FRAUD!
Your money is gone. You will not get it back. You've been taught a very expensive lesson.
If anyone contacts you with "winnings", "grants" or "loans" and needs money up front, They are FRAUDS! ALWAYS!

He said to call the number and give my WG code and I would get the 9200.00 grant with a no payback.

I read all of these messages and they said the same thing, to call the 315-636-5431 number and I would have 9200 in my bank account as soon as I gave them the number.  I told them nice try!  LOL   People are so dumb
