Asian man states he's calling from the govt in Washington, D.C. And they want to give me 7k in grant money. He says to call 315-675-7766 and give confirmation number cl320. He went on to say the I money will be in my account within an hour. I said mail me the details. He said ok but never asked for my address and he hung up abruptly.

A few months ago he was calling with the computer problem...please log on....I told him no computer at this house dude....so now they are calling with the grant scam...trying to get info.

Stupid people ...you say you're calling from D.C but you want me to call New York....get a job

Stop fu calling people with this number. I dont know u and u dont know me. So stop calling

I got a call this morning on my land line before 9:00 am.  I said hello and right away the guy wants to know if I am in front of my computer I said know and why.  He got someone else.  The second guy asked the same thing, again I asked why and he told me that my computer has  been sending error messages to their servers.  Told him I was not on a network.  He insisted that Internet Explorer and Google was sending their computer error messages.  I finally told him he was full of crap and hung up on him.  When I called the number back, I got the same recording from a woman with an accent saying the person I was  trying to reach was unavailable.

These people have called my ill parents house serveral  times and when I request to be taken off their calling list they want to argue with me.. they keep going on and on and on. I told him to shut his mouth and do as I say and remove me and he hung up on me!!!! I refuse to go to my computer and do anything they ask me to do, they are just trying to STEAL your personal information!!!!

Any ideas who this might be?

Got calls on my cell phone several times over several days.  I do not answer, they leave no voicemail.  I called the number back using *67 to block my caller ID.  A foreign sounding female voice stated the person I was calling was unavailable (how does she know who I am calling)?

Probably some scam telemarketer robo-dialing the calls.  Cannot block callers on my cell phone, but I can on my home phone several ways.  My Panasonic phones can block 30, my TWC phone account can block another 30, I can forward another 30 to a disconnected phone number with TWC, I can have NOMOROBO handle lots of numbers as long as they have them in their database, and finally, via my TWC account I can use "VoiceZone Enhanced" to block an unlimited number of callers, even blocks of numbers or whole area codes.  If you have Time Warner Cable phone, check out VoiceZone Enhanced on their forum, it is FREE and works great.  

Was out all day, got three calls in a matter of three hours, but our number is unlisted and this is rare, so it means they've "robodialed" our number if it's spam.  I never answer unless I know who it is, but it is also strange that we had three calls all on the same day, with different Caller ID listings on 2 of the 3.  Very tricky!  Beware!
