A debt collector,  especially when he is a scammer can not send you to jail
There is no such thing as debtors jail
Time barred means that the debt is beyond the time limit that it is legally collectable (varies from state to state)
What should you do?   NOTHING....They are scammers....don't talk to them......Get on with your life.....

when these IDIOTS calls you again tell them to send you paperwork (and they have to send you paper work) also ask them for there license number to collect money in your state (they have to give it to you)then check it out because these low lifes will lie to you,if there not license then you dont have to pay this particular agency and they cant do anything about it.
also check to see if the debt is time barred and it is you dont have to pay him anything and dont let them know you recognise the old bill or send therm any money then the SOL CLOCK STARTS ALL OVER AGAIN

Got a call 3 days ago guy with indian accent let a voicemail said his name was brian keller,from criminal justice something... Said i needed to call back asap or a warrenton would be issued for my arrest, I called back that day any everyday up till today and it sends me to a automatic voicemail that's say the person I  trying to reach is unavailable, and I called several time through out the day left 4 messages and I get nothing  return... Yes i'm a little worried because I don't want to goto jail so I need to know that this guy is 100% full of crap.

I recieved this call the threatened me.  They had all  my information from ss # to my work.  They threated to come to my work.  A man named Charles Green gave me case number he had me get a money pak care an put 250 dollars on or I would be arrested on Monday.  I got scamed  and I am sick what do I do

Yes and my gf is arrested cos she did not take care of it..

Received a call 8-28 @ 2:33 p.m. (pacific time).  They stated they were calling the Criminal Justice Legal Services and that an arrest warrant had been issued in my name.  They could not provide any information, etc.  This is a SCAM.

I did not give them any personal information at all.  I also have saved their voice message on my phone to turn over to the Federal Trade Commission so they can investigate this fraud.

I got the same message, is a guy with the name Janice, so I am sure that this is a scam, trying to get your personal information.

got a call from this number, the guy had an indian accent and said that I have 3 complaints on me one is from cashnet payday loan and 2 more. He said this is time sensitive and if I don't call him that they will be sending a local officer to arrest me...WT....did anybody get the same thing
