Same crap happened to me.  Someone call the FBI!  unfortunately, too many people get busted this way.

Check out this scam on the Microsoft website.  It's been going on for so long it has whiskers on it!.

Got a call from a Pakistani accent man who said someone is trying to hack into my computer.  He said he worked for Windows PC Services and his phone no. 315-944-2628. I asked him what is he selling and he said nothing. He proceeded to tell me to run a program on my computer but then I was concerned he would take control of it and hack it.  So I told him I will call him back and hung up.

I got a call from Sam Wilson who wanted me to allow access to my computer via the eventvwr command line. Got his number and googled it to end up here. I hope people aren't falling for this scam. Sam claimed to be from Windows Support. I said I'd just clear my hard drives and start fresh and he then continued to say to call him back when i was done. 315.944.2628 ext. 108

its a obvious scam david n sam both are havin indian accent and they were trying to hack my computer

Sam Wilson, obviously a made up name, had a very thick Indian accent. Claimed I had error messages on my computer and I needed to log onto windowspcservices.com to fix them. I asked him many times to identify the computer with the problem and he avoided answering only to tell me my computer is in jeopardy of crashing. Said I'd call him at the above number ext. 108. Scam written all over it! I explained to him that I have no idea who  is and I'm not logging on to an unknown websit so that he can"fix" my computer. Better yet rob me of my identity! Don't fall for this SCAM!

I didn't recognize the number in caller I'd so let my answering machine pick it up.  Message was very garbled and I couldn't understand what they were saying with a Loy of background noise but definitely an Indian accent.  Only word I clearly heard was something about the internet. Needless to say I will not call back.

Same Scam. Indian Accent. Called himself David also.  Said my computer was sending error messages to Microsoft. How many people are falling for this scam!

same call as the others. A person named David, Indian accent,urgency in  his voice said he is from windows and I should not use my computer. If I went on line now he  would help me. Told him I would call back

Same scam as everyone else. 'Windows Tech Team' calling to help me out with my PC (which has actually been acting up). Got a number from him before we did anything, googled it and found this site, called him back and during a rant which he hung up on me, told him I was reporting him to RCMP. His name was 'Ron Williams' and he even had a pseudo employee number.

Got a call from an individual introducing himself as Bread from Microsoft support.  He stated that my computer is corrupted and he wants to help me.  Obvious scam. Took his phone number to report.

Got a call from this number someone called Mark Williams inpersonating a microsoft tech team. How dome dose this person think I am I could hear people in the backround laughing. Defo a scam. Took his number and told him to stop bothering helpless people.

I got a call from this number this morning. Michael from "windows services". Obviously a scam, told me my computer was being hacked. Took his number and said I would call him back. Will report it.

Scamster who  claimed to be Microsoft reporting that I had a computer fault. Put phone down.
