They don't deserve decency

Another Scam. Go to the FTC website and file a compliant about these people. It's the only way to get their attention. I filed a complaint today and will do so every time I get another call.

Identified themselves as google.  Told them to put me on don not call list & he slammed the phone down.

Yeah, I also pressed 1, and I got "Calvin". And right away, I could tell Calvin was a douche. He answered "Google Top Placement," with a Sapranos-like voice, and asked for the name of my business. I told him to eat s***. Then he hung up.

Received an automated call from a company identifying themself as Google stating that if we do not accept their offer to be at the top of the search results that our competitor in the same city will then it prompted to press 1 to claim it or 2 for something else. Being quite certain this was a scam, I pressed 1 to speak to a representative out of curiousity as again, I was quite certain it wasn't Google. "Al" answered immediately and when I stated this didn't seem like the type of sales tactic Google would promote and that frankly it was poor Marketing, well "Al" hung up. When I looked up the phone number on my call log on my business phone, as soon as I selected it, I received a busy signal with the screen displaying "invalid number". I then called the number from Whichita, Kansas and it rang and rang and rang...no answere what a surprise.

called 10:00 AM. Left no message. It's a real shame people can't have better manners when they call a business.  

Received a call from this number even though I am on every do not call list known to man.  Message was said to be regarding becoming a top listed google company.  Said only one company in my town would be accepted for this offer.

This company calls regularly and identifies as GOOGLE.  They advise that our business is not listed with them and they will do this at no charge, but need to get our information.  I have told them repeatedly that we closed our business 15 years ago, and they immediately hang up.  I have called the number back and gone to the directed prompt.  When I try to discuss that we no longer have a business and try to give them that information, they hang up.  Often, when you try to call back, the phone rings but no one answers.  I understand that GOOGLE does not contact people by phone so this has to be a scam.  The question is, where is the FCC and what are they doing about this calls?  The incoming call comes from Wichita, Kansas, which seems like an unlikely place for an SCAM operation --- but guess the scums of the earth roam everywhere, even in areas where people are hard-working and honest.
