Says his name is Roney Mark

I was advertising wedding photography. Says his wedding will be in Chattanooga, TN. Gave him my fee and he gladly accepted. Says he'll mail me a check.

I gave him the address of our local police department. Maybe they'll track down this scammer.

I just concluded a text message exchange with someone using this phone number. This was regarding a $50 piece of furniture posted on Craigslist. They stated they were in Texas, but lived in Kansas, and immediately wanted my name and address so their secretary could mail the payment. They claimed they would send a private shipper to pick up the item. I'm in California.
Yeah. Not very convincing.

This person is trying to scam me online trying to buy shoes that I'm selling on the classified ads. They are trying to send me through all these hoops and I knew it was strange so I told the person I thought it was a scam and they flipped out on me.
