im on NO CALL LIST----

Answered & said "Hello".  Got no response... no sound... as if a dead/disconneted line???  Looks as though the culprit hiding behind this mystery number is still proving to be a pain in the a*** as of 5pm, Jan. 22, 2013.  How nice that this loser has found a means and method of making a difference in the world!

Went to my VM.  They said my name several times. said hello several times, then must have realized it was a vm.  They immediately hung up at that point.  Guess the do not call list means nothing to this company.

They have called several times but never leave a message.

they call all the time  some times late like 11pm

AT&T said this is number is not in the directory and is a telemarketer.  Proably one that is using a high rate or ratio on their robo call machine. Their advice is to (1) block the call and (2) to fill a complaint on the Fed No Call List web site.

And we do not answer the call-makes no difference-they just keep calling.  Just about every day!

Constantly getting calls from this number in Wichita, KS. Out of area, caller ID, no message. Guess the "no call list" does not apply to whomever this is or the company represented.

@dell- how do you know this since they never talk?  Let us ALL know right here.

It's probably a computer we're dealing with here and most people use cell phones now so they wouldn't necessarily be @ home.  But your theory is a good as anyone else's.  Who knows what they will come up with next to harass us.  Just don't answer your phone if you don't know the number.  If they are legit and need to talk to you they'll leave a voice mail.  I never answer a call if I don't recognize the number.

Rec'd a call from this number but was sleeping.  Checked here and see now that I didn't need to answer anyway.  Thanks everyone for adding all the comments!  Oh, my husband has gotten several calls from this number too.  Says the same as all of the previous comments.

This number called and I answered and no one was there. I feel that when this happens, and it does quite frequently, the person calling is trying to determine if anyone is home at that time of day in order to let other telemarketers know when to call.  Is this possible?

Just got a call from this number.  Just like everyone else, when I answered there was only air.  I hung up.  Is this a telemarketer, or just someone who gets a lot of wrong numbers??

Got the same call tonight at 5:00.  Sane result.  No one there

got a call from this number this evening.  When I answered the call disconnected, when I tried to call it back call would not go through.  No recording or anything just wouldn't go through.  Does anyone know who this number belongs to ?

I was just called a few moments ago.  The number is from Wichita, KS.  I called back and the receipdent (sp) said muttered somthing then hung up.  I immediately called back again, and received the recorded message "not in service."  If one keeps getting calls from this number, recommend put on Block Calls list -- not sure how, contact your service provider.  Further problems contact State Attorney General/phone company.

Have called 4 or 5 times at various times in afternoon.  They never answer when I say hello.  So I say goodbye and hang up.  I tried calling back and it was no longer in service.  Strange how a number that can call me is no longer in service huh?
