This number is supposedly for the Fraternal Order of Police in Kansas City Kansas, but the call originated in Wichita, Kansas... 180 miles away. I contacted the police department and was informed that they NEVER call soliciting money. It is a scam. DO NOT give these people money!

I keep on getting these calls, more so now that I told the Feration of Police charity that I was giving them a donation any more!   Looks like if you don't give the police something they will make your life hell!

I got a call from them too. I had no problems and they were courteous and understanding that I couldn't donate what they asked for. But they agreed to accept whatever I can spare and they will send me the forms to do so. I won't donate over the phone. It is a legit organization for the state of Kansas.

Just got one too but when I said hello, there was silence, then after 5 seconds or so, I heard "hello?" I said yes, hello and then nothing, I blocked their call on my anonymous call rejection service by dialing *60 and inputting their phone number.

THIS IS THE FOP FOR KANSAS.  I LIVE IN KANSAS BUT I WILL GIVE CONTRIBUTIONS TO MY CITY POLICE FOP, THESE PEOPLE WANT TO GIVE YOU THE GUILT TRIP FOR NOT GIVING TO THEM.
MY EMPLOYER ALWAYS GAVE TO THE LOCAL FOP AND SO DID I.  I SAID I WAS ON FIXED INCOME
AND HE SAID I SHOULD GIVE TO FOP FOR KANSAS SO I COULD FEEL SAFE.  THEY CALL ABOUT 3 TIMES OR MORE A YEAR.  I JUST HANG UP NOW.

They are a FOR PROFIT professional fundraising group.  The type that give, say, a nickel for every dollar they collect to the charity they purport to represent.  If you want to support the Police, call them and ask what is the most effective
way to do that.  These groups pick a charity that they think will be likely to attract a lot of sympathy and then they exploit it.

FOP calls me randomly from morning until evening and I plan on blocking all their numbers from my phone. This is my only solution I can think of to get rid of the harrassment... (FOP) Freddy Kruger is a nightmare

Several calls from several different numbers. Same people. KS FOP. Bad tactics, huge guilt trip, can't take "no" for an answer. Since they are non-profit, they get past the Do Not Call Registry/law.

I've been getting these for over a year. They are rude, and relentless. They just call me from a new number, when I don't answer.

They'll call a couple of times from each number, before switching to a new one. Very obnoxious.

They call everyday, and normally earlier in the morning. I want them to stop. What I need to do?

I don't care if it's the Kansas FOP or their representatives these telemarketers are rude. When my wife tried to tell the guy she wasn't interested he snapped at her and told her "don't cut me off." I will never donate money to this cause because of the uncivil people the Kansas FOP has chosen to represent them.

The police are here to protect and serve-not harass.

By the way, if you call the number back you will reach a voice message that will allow you to press "1" to block these people from calling you.

This is a call center that the FOP hires to get donations. Donations don't go any specific chapter, just the Kansas organization as a whole. I just ignore them since their calls never identify who is calling on caller ID.

Called, didn't leave message

I have been getting the same calls more than once.  It the FOP.  They're wanting us to contribute to their fund for the families of the officers.  They try to hit you with a small guilt trip about being put in harms way and service.  I've heard it is actually money which is collected that goes to their retirement pensions.  I have never contributed to their cause because they said they are from Kansas City.  I don't even live there!  I live a 2 hour drive from there!!  One time they even called to complain that my wife had not 'sent her pledge yet'.  She has told them she would NOT pledge any amount without discussion with me.  They sent the papers anyway 'thanking' her for making her pledge.  
These people are pretty underhanded, if you ask me.  Don't bother to answer your phone.

Someone from this number called at 8:16 this morning and woke me up. When I answered they hung up. I get calls at all hours from this number. Please do something to stop this.

Just got a call this morning and have been getting calls from this same number every few weeks and    I don't answer it....Thanks for sharing your research.

I answered after 2 rings and they hung up as soon as I said hello.

I got a call from this number. He told me he was looking for this person because he was a process server and had a warrant with her name on it. He wanted to give her the opportunity to take care of it without him having to server her the papers. He gave me a phone number for her to call 1-800-413-5002 and said the plaintiff was RTH Group. He also gave me a case #. He said his name was Sean Davis but wouldn't give me any contact information so I could check out his story. When I redialed the number, I got an answering machine that said it was the Fraternal Order of Police. Not sure why a process server would be calling from Fraternal Order of Police... Has anyone else gotten a call like this?

Just called the house phone and asked for my father. Hung up immediately when he was not available.
