The scammer offers an eBay / Craigslist / other auction site seller a wonderful deal. The scammer will use "PayPal" to send the money, so the deal will "be protected by PayPal". Here are some of the variations on the scam:

   The scammer picks up the item or has it delivered to a place that has no snailmail tracking. Since there is no online-visible proof of delivery, the scammer successfuly files and wins an Item Not Received case with PayPal, and gets both the money and the item.

   The scammer sends the seller a PHONY link to PayPal. The phony link states the item was paid, but the seller has to send some money or the Tracking Number "to release the funds". The scammer gets both the money and the seller's PayPal login information!

Oh ... by the way ... THERE IS NO PAYPAL IN NIGERIA!

Received a text from this number asking to buy an item I had posted on Kijiji. They said they would pay me through PayPal. This seemed weird seeing as I assumed it was someone from where I live. Checked their number's area code and it's from Indiana. Then they send me PayPal money and the shipping address which is in Nigeria. The email address does not sound Nigerian, the phone number is from Indiana. This doesn't add up at all. I advise against shipping to this person.

this number is not a scam number who so ever that put it should remove it now..

I received texts from this number as well as another number 715-316-4130 both the same person, they said they switched to their "co-workers" phone... I was trying to sell an item on Kijiji and they offered to pay me through paypal and and then that in order for me to receive the money they had to send a bunch more money in order for me to receive money and then once they did that then I had to send him back money through money gram.
I was suppose to send the item I was selling to someone in Nigeria too... Also the money I was to send to someone in Nigeria...
I just looked the address up to who I was suppose to send it to and it is either a shopping mall or some skyscraper buildings... The address is 113 Marina St Lagos Nigeria... and the name of the guy I was suppose to send the money to was Marvin Okonji... As the others said, he is a scammer don't listen to him!

this petdon try the scsm yo me they wanted buyme itemd from craiglist and mail to nigeria. I saod he already make the payment via paypal but he wanted first sent the items then theu posted the payment on my paypal acvount. I already repory with Paypal . Careful they seny fake emails.

This is a Craigslist scammer using a Google Voice number for SMS (text) messages.  Do NOT respond to this scammer.
