THis number calls my daughter's cell at least 4-5 time daily. Even when she is in school. This is harassment and has to stop. Her number is registered with Do Not Call.

It would seem that if this company isn't ALL a sham - someone is at least apparently spoofing their number. This is my reply, cross referenced on a couple of phone number sites. Another separate scam is going around involving this number now.
------- From my other posts ----------
They called both my husband and I, almost exactly at the same time on our cell phones. Our cells are registered, unlisted, listed on the do not call list, and we NEVER give them out.
It's obviously a scam. The message got cut off on my voice mail, but it said my card had been locked and to call the number. You know it's a spam bot calling because of the instant calls, and most likely illegally spoofed.
My wife's ID showed 317-215-5321, Greenwood, IN. On mine it showed nothing but "0000000" I also have voicemail translation sent to email, and it showed up as "unknown" but gave an 800 number to call back. 800-900-9789. This is all cross referenced with research as the same scam. GRRR!!!
The voice was also some crappy digitized, computerized female voice. These are worse than solicitors. DO NOT call any number they leave you. You never know if they have some kind of funky auto-reverse charge set up to charge your home or cell. Seriously. Seen it before.

Amanda offers free installation to only 2(!) in my area. ADT Security system. Caller ID shows "Vocalocity". She says her company is "True Protection Security", 7002 So East St. Indianapolis, IN. I look them up on BBB. They are rated "F". She says "sorry". Then she calls AGAIN 4 days later. Same spiel.

I received a phone call from them and i almost hung up on them. i ended up staying on thephone bc honestly i was at work and didnt feel like getting back to what i was doing at the time, so i listed to a guy name marcus for about thirty minutes and somehow the guy talked me into it. it didnt seem like a bad deal. all in all i have been installed for three months now, and i have no complaints. i dont understand all the negative comments, bc i have had a lot worse telemarketing calls, and i think they actually provided me with something i could use for a decent price.

I worked with True protection. They installed my system as promised and I had an excellent experience. I priced the system through ADT and it turned out I got a hell of a deal. Don't be so fast to bash the company if you've not done business with them.

My call was from someone named Katie. She calls 10 times a day and when I quit answering the phone she calls repeatedly nonstop. I made the mistake to ask for info from online true protection and I can't get the calls to stop even when I tell them not to call.

I received this call on my caller id this morning. Does anyone know where it comes from?

Ok, I actually answered the phone this time to this number. They told me that they were selling secuirty systems and they only have 2 left for my area. The guy's name was Kyle (so he said) and he tried to scare me into buying this stuff. He said "Do to the recent break-ins around your area, we want to help you. You don't have to worry about going to sleep and having someone come in a try to kill you or take your stuff. It is free if you want it now. I am here to help you and save your life..." WHAT THE HECK?!?!?! Dont' answer the call. I do not think that it is legit, at all. He didn't even say where he was from and when I asked for a number to call back (to see what he would say) he gave me a non working number. SCAM!

True Protection called our company. Said it was not a sales call, would not elaborate, said she "ain't gonna talk to no one but the owner". When I said the owner "ain't available" and hung up, she called back and called me a b***h. Scary outfit!
mike 2011-06-06 20:45:56 Unknown

Wow! Janet, you know that "Bob" was reported for giving a fake social security number (or, according to you, someone else's SSN)? How did you find this out based on what little info "Bob" provided here? And you no longer are part of the company, and yet you have such access to that information? Wow.
Legit or not, the Authorized ADT dealer is yet another in a long time of annoying, pathetic phone telemarketers. I have ZERO sympathy for these b*****ds.
GENIUS 2010-06-29 18:17:53 Unknown
if your phone number is listed as a business number, they have every right to call you until you tell them to take you off their list. just food for thought.
JanetJ 2010-06-29 18:16:21 Unknown
hey genius, i used to work for the company that called you. as a matter of fact they knew you were giving fraudulent information because they reported you as the identity thief because you gave them someone elses social security number which is illegal!!!! They are a legit company, that has been in business for over 14 years. They are the largest Authorized ADT Dealer in Indianapolis, and the oldest in the midwest. Bet you feel smart.

Looks like a marketing group for ADT and if you are on the government's Do Not Call list you should go the website and report them. https://donotcall.gov/

Caller claimed he wasn't selling anything.
I explained we were on Wisconsin's "No Call List," and the caller said there was no such thing as a "No Call List."

three calls in April, May 2009 -- played music for quite a while, taking up time/space on my voicemail.
Skat 2008-11-19 17:23:46 Telemarketer
Calls several times a day and never leaves a message. I did call the number and got a recording for The True Group calling for ADT. It said we could visit their website www.thetruegroup.com. I did and sent an email and fax asking them to delete my number from their call list. We shall see!!

I got a call from these guys claiming to be ADP and wanting to install a free security system in my business or home. I gave them all bogus information and played dumb and let them pump me. They think they got my social security number and DOB. I was transferred to 2 different girls asking me similiar questions. I gave them bogus names, addresses, zip codes, phone numbers, refereneces you name it. I bet they got excited when they hung up phone and could not wait to try to clean me out or steal idenity. I am sure they are scammers trying to bait you. Do not waste your time with them. ADP would never call and offer free installation of security system with key pads, motion sensors, door and window sensors.

Asked if my husband was available (by first name only). Asked to take a message, no message to leave.
Stuart 2008-05-08 19:50:01 Unknown
didn't leave anything on my voice mail.
