These people keep calling. I finally answered. When the man asked, "are you interested in free installation of an ADT system?" I responded "Well, we already have an ADT system, so......." and before I could finish my sentence, the guy hung up.

I have recieved several phone calls from (317) 222-3395 in the past few days. When I answer the phone, I never have a robocaller or live caller answer me back. They are calling my cell phone (which is a work cell). I called them from my work land line and got an immediate answer. The robocaller that answered said "If you would like to be placed on our do not call list press 1 now" I pressed 1 and the robocaller said something to the effect of 'sorry for the inconvenience, please allow 3 days for processing'.

Called my cell today at 1:47pm EST. Did not answer as I was at work and never even knew the phone had rang until after 4pm. Anyway, no message left as with everyone else and I can not confirm the caller.
Jim 2010-11-09 16:22:46 Unknown
They call 5 times a week and never answer.
Christine 2010-11-05 20:26:39 Unknown
Same call today, I expressed that I had no interest. I asked them to remove me from call list. Said I would be off in 72 hours... we'll see.
Rick 2010-11-03 23:12:36 Unknown
Received call today -no answer- left no message- I called back and heard this message,"if you would like to be taken off our call list, please press one." then it promptly disconnected the line.

re: Joe's post above.....
I was the source of the information Joe copied here, and if one scrolls back in this thread, it can be seen that I wrote that for 800Notes and copied it to two other phone scam reporting sites, including the one from which Joe copied my notes on research into that illegal telemarketer back to here.
It should be noted that this does NOT appear to be ADT, but rather a third party dealer for ADT, that also (if one follows the pitches on the other related domains I identified) sells GE security systems monitored by generic alarm services, plus other product lines and psychotic services (give legal proof of religious dogma scam, psychic hotline, etc, which assume reaching some percentage of mentally deficient call recipients or Web site viewers as targets).
On top of legal complaints to the FCC for cel phone robocalls and FTC if DNC listed lines are called, and since this appears to be an unusual dealer that's not masking its identity to the extent many other such scammers do, it might also be worth contacting ADT itself and filing complaints of a beyond unethical, outright illegal telemarketing practices dealer.
As with most such scammers, when a company illegally targets sequences of numbers for robocalling with no regard to identifiable cel blocks or DNC scrubbed lists, it's probably best to NOT follow their options to be removed from the list. That just verifies that a human responded, and makes resale of the lists to other criminal enterprises more valuable. Either engage such scammers and pretense being a desirable customer, to consume their staff time or harvest info for filing regulatory complaints (and increase staff turnover, as unproductive staff get fired or quit, requiring more work to hire and train more scammers), OR just don't answer or hang up such that their lists aren't validated with "press X to increase resale value of your number for other criminals, press Y to be passed to a screener to see if we can close this scam on you" doesn't result in financial gain to the crooks.
As far as I know, ADT does not itself engage in illegal marketing practices, and if one can reach suitable management for enforcement, has agreements that its agents also operate legally. This problem is with scofflaw third party agents.

Have gotten a call from this number every week day for 2 weeks (since I changed my phone number). I have called twice and pressed 1 to be put on their do not call list and am still receiving calls. I have a prepaid cell and this is costing me 99 cents every time they call.

Found an interesting post this morning on this same topic for the same phone number:
It appears this is a scma run by ADT. Here is the text of the post...
Home Security Network script reading girl pitching "free ADT home security system". Fraudulent claim to be a response to an entry at a mall or other location, that could not possibly have been real. Call was made to a cel phone, inherently illegal regardless of DNC listings. Script reader argued doing nothing illegal when confronted with issue of call being illegal.
CID of 317-222-3395 appears to possibly be real, and traces to Indiana Bell landline, where this actual company appears to be based:
http://homesecuritynetworkshop.com/
"Free" apparently means $99 installation charge plus any extras they might pitch, plus $1300 or more contract and approved credit plus automatic payment agreement to credit card.
This appears to be the same company as operates under several other names and numbers, including 1-866-507-3344 , www.ProtectYourHome.com, www.USAlarm.com, and www.ExpertHomeSecurity.com 3750 Priority Way South Dr, Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46240
They also appear to be the same company as or have affiliated sales deals with pretend psychics, religious frauds, satellite TV marketing, and DSL sales, also common fields for fraudulent marketing schemes.

I received same type of calls from two numbers this week: 888-555-5572 and 317-222-3395. I reported both to the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm, suggest others do the same so they research this company and prosecute them accordingly.

I have gotten a call from this number 4 or 5 times now and pressed 1 to be put on the do not call list and still I keep receiving calls. I tried calling the number today to complain and was disconnected without finding out what Company or what reason for this call other than to use up my minutes on my cell phone. Soon I will be calling the Better Business Bureau to report this phone number and company as a nusiance and or fradulant company because there is no reason for the call other than to charge me for the minutes.

I got a call from 317-222-3395 shortly after I received a robo call from 888-555-5572. That robocall is selling insulation or siding (I don't remember which). It said to speak to a representative to press "one" so I did cuz I wanted my number deleted from their scheming butts...well no live person...they say to press 3 to talk to a representative, so I did & the robogal said "Thank You for participating." I called my bank to alert them, just in case these creeps have hacked into our bank(s) and we unwittingly authorized payment by pressing those numbers. Time will tell. The last few weeks have been ridiculous for these calls. Yesterday I recieved a call from 949-505-2662---they also use the numbers 612-808-5670 AND 714-408-3640...the beg. of the call is recorded. They call themselves Credit Card Services or Card Services. They offer to lower the rate, Press "one" to talk to a rep...well same garbage, except many are very nasty & threatening. I reported them to the FCC as a huge Identity Theft Ring because they want your acct numbers. Call FCC we need to take all of these numbers OUT of business! Let the smack-down begin!!!! The FCC number I called is 877-382-4357. I got a real person after entering my "selections" twice. Didn't take long. I called the Atty Gen of my state "they don't handle that" I gave them an earful about that too.
