My mom received a call today about they had s warrant for my arrest & I better comply.  I inquired who the debt was with & they were in violation b/c they gave out personal information.  He stated I was s lowlife who would pay debts and hung up. I immediately called attorney general office to file a complaint.  It is a scam b/c collection agencies hsve to tell you who the original creditor is/was...

They called my brother-in-law and told him that an arrest warrant had been issued for his arrest.  Thank goodness he did,t fall for it.  I called and was transfered to a guy named John who after I questioned him about what this was about, he hung up on me.  I called back and the lady told me was too busy to talk to me.  I told her he probably was and trying to scam somebody else and she hung up on me.

Got a message about a felony warrant being issued under my former married name in a state I don't live in. Searched the number and it comes up as a cell phone out of Franklin Indiana (Johnson County). A woman named Jane Connor left the message. I don't buy it since I don't live in the state they are calling from or referencing the warrant will be issued out of. Not to mention I haven't done broken any laws or committed any crimes. Put them directly into my blacklist log to prevent future calls.

Just received a call from this number registering the area code in Indiana. Jane Connor left message that she was looking for me but refered to my previous married name . She stated to contact her immediately regarding charges being filed in the state of AZ and that she had sent paper work but didn't get a response.  When I called back I didn't inform them who I was but that they left a message for someone else. She tried to identify me based on my caller id name and asked if i was a friend or family member. When told no she stated she was trying to make contact because a felony warrant was being issued but that she would remove the phone number from their database and let the judge know. For 1, I haven't lived in AZ for almost 3 yrs, 2- I haven't carried the name of my former marriage in years and 3- no paper work was ever sent nor received to respond to. If a warrant is being issued the courts do not outsource to other companies to make contact with the person. They send official court notification via us postal service regarding the court hearing and in it they state they have issued a warrant for arrest. This is the reason I do not answer calls from unknown numbers. I only called back after reading some of the entries on this blog to see what would happen. Had she used a different tone, I might have identified who I was.

My son received a phone call from this number and was told that there would be a warrant for his arrest and that they have a video of him cashing a check in July of 2009.  He was in the hospital fighting for his life when they said this supposedly did this.  They then preceded to tell him that they did a background check on him and his record was clean and to keep it clean that he needed to take care of this matter. My son told him that he would contact his lawyer and the man called him a scumbag and hung up.

i received a call from the same number about ten minutes ago with the same exact story that you are saying i was upset so i decided to research an i found these post i called her back an let her know i knew she was a scam she hung up an didnt answer again.    THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT PAY!!!!!!!

I have no idea who it is. I had a loan in collections with Ace cash express in a town I no longe live in. They claimed that they worked for ACE, and that I needed to pay or else I would be arrested. They claimed that they were protecting their "victim" and that paying 737 was a small priice to pay for my freedom. Because I was so panicked that I would be arrested I borrowed the money and paid these people. Then, I told my coworkers about this incident. They told me it sounded like a scam and that they were using words to scare me, which they did. So when I got home researched the company found a whole bunch of blogs such as this one about this happening to all sorts of people for all different amounts of money. Please do not pay these people call the company directly  that is supposedly the "victim." I did this and Ace cash express told me that they do not use a 3rd party if your account goes into collections and that I can pay them directly. The Ace cash express manager even told me that this was a scam and to not pay.

But who is it! I just received a message from them and called them back and the guy was very rude and I had not a clue what he was talking about.

Very rude, harrassing calls. Called uniffied processors. Any idea who are these people. Please help.
