Patty- It ISN'T Wal-mart calling, or anyone they sold information to. It's a scam, pure and simple. Wal-mart is a common American business. Who hasn't bought something there. It's Cold-calling cons' from Calcutta contacting you. They use voip & a computer to make millions of calls. You got called. It's like blaming Nokia for all the text messages being sent by crooks.

Did anyone else get a Walmart Visa card for Christmas?   Since Walmart seems to be a recurring name with this number I am guessing that is how they got info on us?   WTH?   I was given a gift, no one indicated that by checking my balance online it gave them the right to harass me with phone calls.

Caller called me around lunch time a couple of days ago, said my husband had applied for a job. He was very taken aback when I told him "No he wasn't", whomever it is, is someone "young" and pathetic. I informed all my family members, and definitely making a police report in case they can actually trace the number. Just curious though? Are many of you AT&T Customers? And what type of plan do you have? I am an AT&T customer and I have a GO Phone, so it may be possible that all of us have something in common.

Recieved a call at 4:51, said Hello several times.. Noone answered. I hung up!

Just got call this number and asked me about online job stuffs. He said i had applied for job while i was online and wanted me to answer survey which was my personal information. Believe me this is absolutely a scam.

I had the same scenario just a minute ago.  They said I bought a gift card from walmart and did a survey.  They said I indicated I was interested in empoyment which is why he is calling.  He tried to press me with more questions.  I know I did not inquire about anything or so I hung up.  Sounded scammie to me too.

I received a call on my cell phone. I did not answer it and they did not leave a voicemail. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.

Said he was calling from MN Positions about an online job search survey.  Each time "he" spoke there was a delay and sounded like a recorded scripted question and answer.

Just got a call from this number. I answered with hello several times but, no response.

Call about checking for an interview for jobs and seeing if I qualified for the service.  Said it was related to a form I filled out relating to Walmart.  Came in on my cell phone and the number is not even one that I have had very long.

Voice and spacing of words and conversation seemed to be automated.

I got a call from this number yesterday saying I had filled out somthing online about A job I didn't.
so talking to the guy I asked him if he was in Indiana he had a 317 area code.
the reason asked if he was in Indiana I now live in Califronia I'm not looking for a job
in Indiana. so I hung up

The guy called and sounded more like a recording with long pauses between statements. He said that it was from a survey I filled out and they match you with jobs in your area. Said he was with a company called WN or something I'm not sure I heard him right before hanging up on him.

Got a call on my cellphone from this number. Was a fishing scam. Said I entered information into a website probability for a "Walmart gift card" and showed interest that I was looking for job opportunities. Also said he was from "Florida" and his name was "Jeff". I said specifically that I was not interested, I had a perfectly good job, and to remove me form the list. He promptly hung up on me.

Call the number back. It has an automated answer and you can remove your number from their list without dealing with anyone trying to hassel or sell something to you. Not sure if it will keep them from calling again but worth the try.

They just called my 11 year old daughters phone. When asked hpw they got her number they hung up. I called back and said i was gonna report number and they hung up. They have called my phone before but i hung up and ignored till they called her phone. They didnt get any info though

The number is registered to bankwidth.com same as the one in California was. looks like they moved to Indiana.

We all have careerbuilder in common!! I didnt even want to use that site. It is WM positions and there are reports in California that this is a scam they had an old number out there!!

I got the same call. The guy said that I filled in a survey on line that I need a job. It wanted my personal information. When I told him I will call back if I am interested he finished the call very fast.

Just called a few minutes ago. No voicemail, so I decided to look it up. Not sure how they got my number.

He said that I didnt qualify because I failed two or more answers. I even told him I didnt do anything to be prompted for the survey.

Same call just received...  Something about online job I was checking out... yadda yadda... Complete BS. Very happy at my current job...

Guy sounded like a recording, I sware long pauses between statements and responses...

I did a job application for DOW then a few hours later received a call.

Yep, was called today at 1:15pm and I got the same speech.  The guy seemed to be taken aback and when I said I am not interested and to have a great day, he didn't say a word, so I said, ok? Bye?  Please don't give folks like this your personal information.  They are on a fishing expedition...sorry fellas, this one got away...

Just got this same phone call about 30 min ago

Called back and learned that it's an outfit named WN Positions. Looked them up and found a message from World Neighbors (NOT "WN Positions"!) apologizing for the volume of robocalls NOT from them and suggesting that I file a complaint against WN Positions, so I did.

It's a bot programmed to sound human, but it doesn't respond appropriately to unexpected speech. I supposedly filled out a survey saying that I was looking for a job. BZZZT, Wrong. I played along with nonsense responses to see if the call would switch over to a human. When asked if I'm a US citizen, I replied that I'm an alien from the planet Vulcan, then the call disconnected.
