Apparently we all need to file with the Attorney General's office because they are still calling and using the BMV hook. For one any intelligent person knows the BMV could care less how much you waste on car insurance. They only care that you carry insurance.

The call I received echoed the above descriptions. Trying to scam people by using the name of the Dept of Motor Vehicles. I just filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office. I urge you to as well. Here is the link to the online complaint form. http://www.in.gov/attorneygeneral/2690.htm
The only way to stop these pests is to take legal action!

Call on 12/17/2012. Said the Department of Motor Vehicles notified them that I paid too much for insurance. The message said to press 1 to speak to someone and press 3 to be taken off list. The input time was 1 second and it disconnected. I called back, was put on hold for several minutes, even though the expected hold time was less than 30 seconds. Finally rolled to a voicemail for "extension 800". I left my telephone number and a strongly worded message that my number was on a do not call list. If I receive further calls from this number, I will contact the Indiana Attorney General.

Repeated calls, no message left. I dont answer for unknown numbers unless a message is left.
