Call me and did not leave a message. I ran the number on Google and learned that it is a telemarketer and the company of origin is unknown. I got the call at 10:15 am on a Friday.  

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore the Do Not Call list.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is buy a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

Google "call blocker" for more information.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.

Calls every week claiming its my second and final notice to 6.9% on my credit card. Four years of them calling so evidently they have no intelligence to determine how to count past the number 2. They refuse to take out # off their call list and they get rude when you explain the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. Fools, they can't count past 2 and can't figure out what do not call means. MORONS

Received a call from this number, but when I answered they hung up..This is going on my no call list.

Comes up as LRC on the caller id. scam telemarketer, robocall, filed complaint as on the dnc list.

Got a call right at dinner time.. i never answer unknown numbers. Legit alarm companies do not operate like that. Scam!

Robo pre-recorded call to a cell phone on the DNC list.  Claimed to be from Nationwide Alarm Company, and the guy was just a lead taker.  Confirmed my (fake) name and phone number, and said someone would call me back.  Caller indicated that they were based (or at least have an office) in Dallas.  Then pretty much hung up when I asked a question.  Stay tuned, will update with more information if they call back.

Just got this call, I'm glad I didn't answer it after reading previous comments from this website.

Repeated (2x thus far, however 2x too many) robo-call... Annoying to say the least.

Security sign in front year. Allows you to be placed on do not call list. They do not abide by your request and when you speak with a live operator, as soon as you request that they do not call you they hang up on you.

Repeated pre-recorded calls to sell home security system.

Pressing '2' to be removed does not seem to do anything; calls continue to be made.

Would you use this company.  For Anything?

I just saw a story on the news about Phone Scammers a week ago. They end up connecting your call thru local switchboard, but then to overseas somewhere. This results in significant charges for you because it had become an OverSeas, Long Distance Call. They just try to get you to stay on the line as long as possible, or get you curiosity and lure you into Calling Them. Beware, there are several different schemes like this being reported all over the country. JusT RemEmbeR, there's nothing wrong with NOT picking up if you don't recognize the number or area code. Friends and Family will usually leave a message, if not then try and search for the number (like this website). Use your Gut feeling...we've all got it. Just Try And Listen

Got a call, didn't answer. No voicemail left.

This number called saying something about receiving a promotion.....being without a job and knowing that robot men with funny sounding voices don't call one to promote you.

Called my place of business after 5pm. no answer on the other end after identifying myself. Caller ID said LRC. Being a fairly new business we get a lot of marketing calls and "robo calls" Mostly they are like this one - just wastes my time for approx 10 to 20 seconds before the line disconnects.
Very Annoying but appears to be a cost of doing business =-(

First call today, no answer, no voicemail, I hate this kind of call.  When and how can we stop this?  There must be a way.

Same here, just got a call, had enough, so i answered and call them all kind of names, and i was very nasty. She laugh and ask me if i want her to put my # on their do not call list, i response no, i want you f**** idiot to stop calling.

Sent call to voice mail. No message left.
