If you have AT&T you can block 20 or 30 individual numbers from your account settings. You can do it by logging into your account online, but probably can do it over the phone also.

Doesn't leave a message and doesn't answer call when you call them back.

They call us relentlessly until I answer the phone and cut whoever off in the middle of their relentless pitch and tell them flat out that we will not be donating.  It may take repeating yourself three or four times but that will stop the calls for about four month until it starts again.  Supposedly the donations go to a fund to help the children and widows of stat e police officers who were killed in the line of duty.  For the rest of us that is called Life Insurance and we have to pay for it ourselves.  An investigation two years ago showed that the outfit who does these phone harassment calls really does keep 70 cents out of every dollar they raise,

OK stop this ALREADY!   Tired of busting my gut  getting to the phone from the coach to get to the phone and .... you guessed it a hang up. Come on people. Ban this phone from bugging me forever,

THis number calls my house all the time and i want it to stop!!! I am getting frustrated and upset.

Call is from F.O.P. They collect funds to aid families of fallen Indiana police officers.

Calls on a Sunday evening at 5:00PM. Strange stuff. I don't know why people play phone calling games? You don't know what they are up to?

said they were the indiana state police on their annual fund raiser.  7th call this year claiming this, but oddly enough, none of the numbers are even slightly similar.  even if its not a scam - Don't donate to them, none of the money makes it to the State police anyway, it is used up for "operating expenses" (thats how to get around non-profit status and at income tax free level)

if you really want to donate - go to the police post and also get a receipt for charity to apply against your taxes!!

INFOP, they said they can send a car to pick up a check, not a police car, and they said their physical was in an alley downtown on court street. I don`t know why they wont talk to me anymore when I pick up. I guess I`ll go down to the directions they gave me and see what is up.

really? soliciting me to help the police? i make good money but i have a family to provide for. go sit on
the street stripes like everyone else and hold out a bucket and get out from behind desk.

it doesn't matter if you are on the do not call list as the FOP is a charitable organization and therefore aren't restricted from calling you like other solicitors!

They have been calling daily for weeks. Comes up as "InfoP" on my caller ID. I do not answer.

I got one also, I wonder if it's the outfit in Florida that keeps 98 cents of every dollar and passes 2 cents on.

I get calls from this number every day. I don`t answer unless I know number. I am on the do not call list. I have been getting calls from this number for a week or more.

they call every day, sundays too, sometimes twice in two minutes. never leave a msg. i answered once and asked whos calling, he said "Frank Novak".

Just rang times in a row.  Again, I didn't answer and no message left.

An Indianapolis, IN number.  They have been calling for several days now.  I do not answer and they do not leave a message.

They started calling 3 times a day about a month ago.  I finally answered the phone, but only hit the "Talk" button, then held it up against the tv while I blared The Simpsons.   They started calling again today, but I had 2 weeks of freedom.  Evil, I know, but if it works, it works!  :)

(I can't remember which they said they were... Democratic Party fundraising or Frat Order of Police...)

I bet they are trying to solicit you for a donation. The same thing happened to me and they leave no message.

They called 3 times in 5 minutes. They leave no message -- Caller ID shows only the calling number and "IN"  I try to call back on my Majic Jack (to remain annomys) and it instantly goes back to a dial tone.  Called back on regular land-line and an answering machine picks up and says they are "Calling on behalf of the Indiana Fraternal Order of Police".

I get calls almost every day from 317-599--5696. Caller ID only says "IN".   I screen my calls so don't answer unknown numbers.  They leave no message.
