This company is a bad loan company! Don't help!!!

Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. is the Aurora Loan Services after Lehman filed bankruptcy (you know what they did...) Aurora is as bad because they are the same. They are the worst loan shark. There is a class action Lawsuit against them.

They call 2 - 3 times a day, have given out my loan info to unrelated 3rd parties & disregard the federal time restrictions. I'm filing charges with the FTC & Consumer Protection in my state. Thanks for the heads up on the Class Action suit - I want in on that!! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!

You are exactly right in your suspicion that this is Aurora Loan Services & YES, they do call & ring once or hang up, so they can put in their notes that they called. This is an old trick that has been used by bill collectors for decades. The beauty is that the call will show as too short to leave a proper message on your phone records. I agree with everyone here & have had ALL of these things happen to me as well & believe that it IS Aurora Loan Services that are up to no good. F*** all of these crooked attorneys, etc that write up all of this crooked nonsense. Don't DARE defend 'em & let ROT in prison!

I get this every month & have just learned to ignore them. I believe they are up to no good & bleaching documents & adding their own stipulations to contracts.

Yes! This is Aurora Loan Services & they are trouble. Ever since they bought my loan (I don't see why banks are allowed to do this without the customer's consent) there has been trouble with my account, with bogus late fees, etc. I had never even heard of them before! They will call you from 317-572-2585 a long distance number for me & not leave a message, just so they can put in their notes that they called you. They don't leave a direct number for you to call them at & when you do try & call, you get an automated recording wanting you to enter personal info, etc. With all of the scams these days, they should know better than this. They sent some paperwork telling me what my total payment as of____________would be & when I got the statement the following month, it was a substantial amount more than they said. I believe they are bleaching documents & changing the terms of loan agreements. I have read other posts here, & can testify that all of what others are saying here, has happened to me as well, I think Aurora Loan Services is someone to keep an eye on. BAD NEWS!!

Great information... I am not late, never have been; I too will now go online and change my contact information and end these constant calls that have no basis.

I'm having the same thing happen to me. What I did to "fix" this is to create a online account and change your phone numbers.
Too bad they do this, not a good way of doing business and I won't recommend them to anyone.

Yes phone rang once only, decided to google the number and found this blog. My mortage is with Aurora so i have to assume it is them. Why they only ring once and hang up? Here is my guess ; so they can put down on their notes "they attempted to call you and could not reach you". I have heard this from them before. If you work you are not home or always available to pick up the phone YOU ARE WORKING, it does not help that NO Message or call back is left to follow up. This in my opinion is a highly unethical debt collector and a very agressive one with nasty tactics. Document to protect yourself. Aurora is in the business of debt collection / loan service.

I missed a call last night from this number and have had my loan serviced by Aurora in years.

Even though the mtg is paid well before the due date, these *&^%$ers wont stop calling.

recieved a call from this #, it was a long recording of bad music. I also have a loan with Aurora..must be them.

I get the same calls from Aurora and I have told them to stop calling me before I'm late. This is the second call this week, last one was an 800 number. I've got it on caller ID now to ignore. They said I need to send it in writing to take off the notification list. It IS to the point of harassment...

I've never been late on a mortgage payment and I don't need a reminder or somebody calling asking me when do I intend to pay when it's not nearly past due, in a snotty tone of voice is totally uncalled for.

Yes, I got the call.  They hung up when I answered.

They are calling every day and its to the point of harrassment because I made my payment and told them it was made.  My first call from them was on the 1st of the month and they asked me to verify my SSN#,  I refused and was told by them that they could not discuss the details of the call with me.  I was very interested to find out why they were calling because my payment was not late until the 17th.  I called the customer service # and was told that I would continue to get calls until my payment is received.   This is harrassment and I must pursue a legal alternative.

It's been happening to me for the last 3 days and I'm not late on my payment either.  I decided to check online to see if I could track down who was calling me because whoever it is, isn't leaving a message.

I too got called before bill was late and he wanted my ssn and i refused.He got all huffy and refused to get a super.Very odd.

Yes calls from Aurora loan service.  And yes I paid my payment,  No I'm not late.  

I got the call and the caller wanted me to verify my ssn.  I would not, so he refused to tell me why he was calling.  He refused to get a supervisor.  I treated it as a phishing call to get personal info.

It is a loan service. They are now calling BEFORE bill is due....evrey month. WTF!!!!
