Received a call from this number - Caller ID was "Ann Taylor."  Let the call ring through to voice-mail.  A man? left a garbled  message about 1 second long.  Called back, and no one picke up on the other side.

My cell phone started ringing about 1 second before my house phone bagan to ring.  Both calls were from the same number, and no message was left.

Im Sure this is just a bottom feeding collection agency...attempting to collect on a debt thats been already charged off...it started happening when i attempted to repair my credit with a law firm...my credit reports plainly states that these debts are and have been charged off....the Bastards....and they call everyday...i just look at the caller ID and let it ring

this is CRA agengy bill collector threatening to report to IRS and Garnish. the guy was jerk and was telling me this is the reason why the economy is the way it is because people like me get credit and dont pay it. yea im sure thats all to blame on me,,,,OK!!!

These are bottom feeder collections calls. They've been calling me for about a year now, probably about a 15 year old debt from a college credit card. I haven't heard anything for years and then they started calling. They couldn't find me at first. They found my uncle and harrassed him until he got fed up and gave them my number. Now they call me everyday, from a diiferent phone number, probably to throw me off. I would deal with them but I've read so many horrific posts about them I don't want to risk them doing something illegal to my credit rating, which is perfect now. Bottome line, they are shady and will screw you over. I'd rather not risk it.

Called our house and cell phone over and over. Same thing. Settled debt from six years ago. Trying to recollect again.

These people are crazy yelling out ur name and ss well guess what it on my credit report for 3 yrs so they can keep calling and I will continue to hang up on them lololloolo

CALLED WITH A SIMILAR TAX FILING COMMENT. VERY VAGUE/WITHHOLDING INFORMATION. PISSED ME OFF. I SAID, I THINK THIS IS BOGUS AND HUNG UP. I DIDN'T PRESS FOR MORE INFORMATION, I WAS TOO DAMN MAD. IN THE BIG PICTURE THO'? THE PEOPLE WHO DO THIS ARE VERY UNHAPPY PEOPLE. AND THEY WILL PAY FOR THEIR BEHAVIOR AND LACK OF COMPASSION IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. NOT MY ISSUE.

supposed visa credit card debt. caller gave no name.

called me.  did not give name.  said they were taking my tax return for credit card debt.  he knew my scocial sec number

yeah i have had 6 places try to collect on an areia bank visa credit card that was payed off 10 years ago. (the visa card company waz sued for charging late fees before the bill was due)they sold my acount after it was payed off. i have sent copy's of all my paper work to these so called colection agencys. they say i had to contact the visa company, so i did.....they have no record of me AT ALL not even in accounts paid. faxed all my paperwork to them, still no good... screw them a$$ hole fake debt collecters. it seams like if they cant get mony from you they just sale your info to some other bull $h!t colection agency.. o and i started as $200 with the first one now its at $2500....lol the card had a $500 limit that i never maxed out. the payoff was $450......this game gets old

It is a nasty debt collector that shouts at you for debts as old as 10 years!! They are mean and you should call a lawyer and the Federal Trade Commission to file a complaint. The more complainst the FTC receive the better!! 877-382-4357

Call you attorney...They are brutal collectors.  There other number is 866-596-9135.  They try through intimidation to collect "charged off" credit card debts.  They claim someone made a payment after the "charge off" which makes the debt re-collectible.

CRA is an acronym.  THey are a bill collection agency and their tactics are MUCH less than ethical.  THey also lie and use all kinds of tactics to harass.  THey also call from many different tele numbers all over the nation.  They are less than vermin.

Called wanting to know about a passed debt and would not give me no info concering the matter.

I received a call two days in a row from this company, I told them that I was at work and could not speak with them. The first day the lady gave me her name and a phone number to call her back. The next day this rude man kept going on and on about they had documents on their desk concerning me and I asked him what type of documents he said that he could not tell me at this time and I had to speak to someone else, and he was about to place me on hold I told him I am at work and to not call me at work again. He kept on talking like I wasn't there or like he was reading a script. I decided to google the number and I found out that I am not the only that had an encounter with them!!

Wow! Reading the above makes me glad they are not looking for me. They keep calling asking for Mario. I keep telling them there's no Mario here and to stop calling. Next time they call I will try to get a supervisor.

Erica I just received a call just like this.  I wish _ _ _ Holes like this would vanish from the face of the earth.  Would love to meet the person that called me.

They called bout 30 mins ago.... got message to hold.....I had nothing better to do so I did.... eventually woman comes on line and asks for my wife by by her maiden name.   I ask ."And you are?" - she says "CRA - can I please speak to *******", and I ask "CRA? And you are?".  Again she asks to speak to my wife. "Tell me who CRA are and why you are calling.", She says "Please put your wife on the phone.".    At this  point I had already googled the number and was reading through complaints about them.

I respond with "You are in no position to demand anything from me, you can deal with me and me alone.  Also, I never confirmed  that the name you requested lives here.   Please give me you address and contact details as I will be making a complaint.".   She hung up.

They called back again about 5 mins later.   Man on phone asking to speak to my wife again (again old maiden name).   I respond with "Speaking."  He questioned that I was my wife and I reponded with "I have a cold", he asked for last 4 digits of social.   I refused.  He then mentioned that it was pertaining to an outstanding court case and I was bound by law to confirm my social with him.  Needless to say I asked him to kiss a part of my anatomy and put  the phone down.

I got an 8:50am call, when I answered I got an automated system telling me to hold and then it put some music on.

I hung up, not waiting for the other end to pick up.

I just got a call from this number and the man said he was with GE Services? Told me I had taken out a loan with them 3 years ago... I told him I did not and he said he would just right it down as a refusal.. Whatever.. They are full of crap!!!  I did not give him any info. But he knew who my last employer was and last 4 of my Social.. SCARY STUFF!!!!!

CRA is an acronym for Consumer recovery Associates.  I've now blocked 3 of their numbers and they just call from a different one and different area code every day.  I've recently [yesterday] sent off cease and desist letter (here's a template: http://credit.about.com/od/debtcollection/a/ceaseanddesist.htm ) so I expect the foolishness to stop soon, or I'll sue.

this company called me and recited my entire social security number before I identified myself. They could have had the wrong person. They are unethical and bottom feeders. The manager Richard is very obnoxious and very mean. something needs to be done about this company.

They called my parents house to tell them they were one of my contacts and needed to get ahold of me. They never tried to call me first nor did they try to get ahold of my husband who would've been my main contact in the first place. They eventually called me only to not leave a message.

Got a recent call from this number.  I returned the call but only got music, so I hung up.  If this is one of the many CRA numbers...how do these irritable people stay in business.  They threaten, are rude, and actually lie.  I no longer call numbers I do not know and do not answer if caller ID notes a number I do not know.  Sometimes they block the number hoping you answer.  A SHAM!!!
