I recieved an email asking for 300 pounds of chocolate fudge! They referred me to the same shipping company. The shipping was $1,400.00 and he still wanted it!....there is the clue.

June 10th received a very similar email from the same guy wanting $2,400 worth of our chocolate covered pretzels sent to his sister in Australia.  Even gave me information to email the shipper for a quote.  Knowing it was BS I played along.  The shipping alone will be $1400 for 160 pounds of chocolate covered pretzels.  To date I have received nothing further regarding the shipment.  I have no received any phone calls either.

We didn't receive a phone call, but we did receive an email from mrorbet987@gmail.com on Thursday, 5/29/14 requesting pricing for metal roofing panels.
The first email was as follows:

Same here, got e-mail from GUY DIXON left on our "Contact us" page.

I was suspicious for the same reasons as yourself.  Straight away questions marks appeared, why ask for website when he must have been on it to write the e-mail, also asking which credit cards we accept .....!!?  On top of this, grammar was quite poor.

Had no intention of replying to it and am glad I didn't especially after checking up on it and reading that others had similar e-mails.

Same as the others, we got an email from GUY DIXON left on our 'contact us' page

What made me suspicious was that he asked for our website address where he might see our products but he must have been on the site to write on the 'contact us'

We have checked into this & this seems to us to be a fake shipping company scam, we don't feel comfortable proceeding with this, unless you can provide information to prove us wrong our apologies but the research we have done doesn't come up good for these types of transactions. It would have to be a reputable shipping company that we use & we would need to confirm with the bank who issued the credit card you are using that it your card before proceeding as with all owners in small businesses we work hard with little pay to be scammed this kind of money. If you can prove us wrong then great, we would love that but most likely this is the case.

I gave Guy Dixon the office phone number and asked him to call and give a 50% deposit.
Guy rang back a week later after i recived the email, and offered to pay 50% over the phone.
he gave me the credit card details and i put them threw the eftpos machine, and the funds bounced,
i rang mr Guy dixon back, he then gave me another 2 diffrent credit cards, that did not work either.
He said over the phone he would go sort payment with his bank and that he would call me the next day.
that was the last i herd of him around near begging of Dec 2012.
