Someone texted me the same thing from that number...

I received that same text today. Is there some way to find out who the service provider is and report them?

I called it from a landline; recording says the subscriber cannot receive calls at this time.

My wife and I also got nearly simultaneous (and identical) spam messages from this number.

While this process is more than a little tedious, it didn't take me but a few minutes to fill out the form.

1)  If no one complains, you can't fault the government for not taking the problem seriously.

2)  In the event that ever is some kind of action on this, the fines are often directly proportional to the number of documented violations.  (Let's make them pay as much as possible, it won't take you much longer to file a complaint than it has already taken you to read this thread.)

Search for "fcc.gov" in Google and click on `File a Complaint` or go here:

If you decide to do the online form get ready to fill out 58+14 = 72 fields...yes that's a minimum of 72 fields to file a complaint.

I had to pay to receive that spam yesterday. As far as I know, my number is unlisted. It definitely is on the Do Not Call list, and what we all should do is report it to the FCC. There's an online form at fcc.gov; they do follow up.

got the same thing, after a little footwork I think it is traced back to this company...their # seems to be hooked to a fax though...

I'd like to know how they got my number, and who the poor soul is that's going to get an earful.

The email link is to there own advertizing web mail. look at the top it's advertizing PayDay Loans. If you have a real issue report it to Google.

I received a call from this number asking about payday loans and such as well, not by name though. Obviously spam solicited to a cell phone.
