Person called several times since November asking for Steve. Wouldn't say why he was looking for him. Tried to keep me on the line. It was hard to understand him some of the time.

I just got the first call from this number...It is not me who they r looken for. How did they get my number which only like 30 ppl have or even no it?? How do I get them to stop calling me? Can I do anything legally about it?
do not owe them! 2011-06-06 20:45:59 Unknown
The name of the compnay is Pyramid Financial Solutions (PFS). They are trying to collect bad debts from a truck driving school. If you were even used as a reference by someone who went to that school you will received these calls. They will not stop calling. I did some research and got their actual address. They will only give you a PO box. It is 8866 Gulf Freeway Houston, TX 77017. I am going to contact a lawyer and file harassment charges on them if continue to call.

I HAVE BEEN GETTING A PHONE CALL FROM THIS NUMBER EVERY DAY FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS EVERY DAY DAY IN AND DAY OUT EVEN ON WEEKENDS. I DO NOT WANT THEM CALLING MY HOUSE ANY MORE IF I GET ANOTHER CALL FROM THIS NUMBER I AM GOING TO REPORT YOU TO THE POLICE, AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED WITH HARASSMENT.
Tiffany 2011-06-06 20:45:59 Unknown
Keeps calling me at mid-morning times from Monday through Friday; I'm in school at the time so I don't have time to pick up and they also leave me a voicemail message (which sounds like the voicemail's voice oddly) to call a number. It's getting irritating.

received call from 3178227026 about an $8,000 debt. googled the number and pulled up this site. got a number for Clarence from California's post (thanks!), called and confirmed I was not the person they were looking for - same name, wrong address & SSN (last 4 digits ONLY.) I guess I'll see if I get any more calls.

2nd call from this number, 317-822-7026. First call came 7-17-08, gentlemen looking for my sister. He stated that she had attened a truck driving school. Just had a voice recording asking me to call this number for the tax incentive, gave # too fast. Also stated a website, QUICKLY!!! or push 0 to talk to a rep. I push 0 and was disconnected. HA!HA!HA! Such crap.

California again. Spoke with another representative from PFS. She was very professional. Yes, they are a collection company for a trucking school/organization. She explained, among other things, that they were trying to find an individual that had the same name as me. I guess a lot a people try to get out of bills that they owe and sometimes use false numbers, etc. Take the time to call them and either pay them the money you owe OR clarify that you are not the person they are looking for. From what I can tell they are just trying to do their job and collect money owed.
joe 2011-06-06 20:45:59 Unknown
This is a collection company, trying to collect debt owed to them by you (or someone you may know) that attended truck driver training school and didn't pay for the tuition. This is NOT a scam, it's an attempt to collect an unpaid loan (like a credit card company would do!) If they call you, it's easiest to cooperate with them and pay the money you owe or tell them it's not you (if it really isn't). If you ignore it you're only going to get MORE calls and you're going to risk ruining your credit!!

Spoke with a Clarence from PFS (877-836-1377) today after receiving a phone call from a female representative asking for me to confirm my Social Security Number. He said they work with a truck licensing company and I may have been a reference on someone's application, wrong number, etc. He assured me that I did not owe money and would not be receiving any further calls. Hmm.

Just got a call from this company. They are trying to collect for MedTech college. I have tried to tell them repeatedly that they have the wrong person. They just keep calling. I even changed my telephone number and yet they somehow got that too. Listen up people, I don't answer the phone from numbers I do not recognize, you can even show up as private name, private number, I still won't answer. I don't know who owes you, nor do I know what MedTech college is or does so stop this now. This has gotten beyond annoying. I'M NOT PAYING SOMEONE ELSE'S BILL!!!

My 14-year old son has been getting calls from this number on his cell phone, including recorded voicemail messages, from this number as well as the 877-836-1377 number. He has no outstanding bills, and is way too young to even get a drivers license much less a truck driving lesson (as referenced in prior reports of this number)!

No, it is a sweepstakes company trying to qualify contestants for the grand prize.
Mary 2009-01-30 20:14:29 Non-profit Organization
This is a non-for-profit organization trying to raise money for abused children. I can't think of a more honoring use of telephony service.

Got this call today. It seems to be legit. Call came from 317-822-7026, Tara left a voice mail and said that a friend of mine was attending truck driving school there (true). She asked me to call her back at 866-753-6388 and select option 2, which I did. There was just a voice mail box that asked me to verify my address. I gave them my PO Box, assuming they will use this information later if he doesn't pay for his class bills.

This number calls at least once a day on my son's cell phone. No idea who it is. They even called on Sunday. I answered that call to tell them to stop calling and I got a recording saying to call back during normal business hours. Very irritating.

I GET THIS SAME CALL ON SUNDAYS AT 8AM THIS IS THE STUPID THING ALL OF MY FAMILY GETS THE SAME CALL BECAUSE WE LIVE BY EACH OTHER WITH THE SAME LAST NAME AS THE PERSON THEY ARE LOOKING FOR IF THIS HELPS POST AGAIN PLEASE
Anthony 2008-05-17 19:12:19 Debt Collector
They call collecting on a debt for someone with the same name and birth year but obviously dirrent date of birth and SSN. I have never been in a truck driving school (Drivers Solutions) or have any current delinquent debts. They have tried to bully me into paying. I gave them my date of birth and address so that they would get a credit report, but they say they have not. I don't think they care that they have the wrong person. They just want money. They have called multiple times every day for close to a year. This is a zombie debt collection agency. I have just ordered call blocking service on my phone because of PFS.

I have been getting calls from this number 317-822-7026 and a message saying to call back to 877-836-1377 with a reference number. I did and they are looking for someone who i do not know. I had a 10 minute conversation with this person and asked him to please stop calling, the person they are looking for does not live here. The phone calls has not stopped so i'm sending a Cease and Desist letter and by law they must discontinue calling. This is called the "Fair Debt Collection Act" I will contact the Federal Trade Commission if the do not comply.

Called the house after 8 P.M. Asking for somebody I never heard of. Person calling got kind of rude when I told them they had the wrong number. Wanted to know who I was and how long I had been living there. Told them it was none of their business and hung up.Added that number to my block number list.

Randy?? Seriously...you have no idea what you're talking about. The comments posted here are not designed to "hurt certain people"...that's PFS's goal. They are opinions that just happen to be true, obviously from people who have seen enough to actually know the truth. Stay in the dark if you like, but just remember this...you choose to continue to lie down with dogs, sooner or later they end up pissing on you too! Good luck to the little "sunshine doll"...you're going to need it!
BS Detector 2008-02-27 15:52:46 Unknown
That may be the most moronic message I have ever read here. That is quite an achievement. Congratulations!
The fact is, there's no legal liability for people to log on here and express their opinions of and experience with this company or any other company. To underscore the point, please read the following carefully: PFS sucks mightily. What do you think about that?
Sorry to rain on your parade, but most people here know that debt collection companies have no special, quasi-law enforcement status. So you can dispense with the moronic "We know who you are" crapola.
Oh, just one more thing. Your inability to correctly spell basic words such as "seems" confirms what most of us know - that sleazy debt collection operations employ astonishingly under qualified and inept personnel.
Best regards.
randy 2008-02-27 15:24:47 Unknown
Dont believe everthing you hear from these messages.PFS is a terrific company and certain people should be lucky to still have a job there. It seams that the messages were only to hurt certain individuals and if this continues further action will be taken. So consider this a warning this is enough your establishing PFS as a bad company and only jeopardizing our business. We know who you are.
Sincerely,
