Same scammer, new message.    Last one was for a mortgage modification - this time the pitch was "...if you have more than $10,000 in unsecured credit card debt...".      Like I'm sure they could help - like help themselves to any remaining money a victim might have left on their card.

Really?  Who would do ANY business with someone calling from a disconnected number?   With NO real business name, no location, no nothing - just a scam pitch and a hard sell to get your financial info?

Desperate?  Very much so.  

This numeric keeps calling me on my Cell and nnever leaves a Msg.

It's an election year!!  Call ALL the politicians in your area and complain to them, bother them with several calls, maybe try to forward all the calls you get from these pains in the butts to them and let them deal with it.  After all, seems as though our elected officials don't have much to do these days since they are sooo busy begging for more money for their election campaigns, right?  If you had a block put on your phone and the calls are still coming through, refuse to pay your phone bill until you get the service you paid for.
I am having the same issues with these calls from all different numbers and states and I, too, can't get any satisfaction from anyone about stopping these idiots from calling at all hours of the day and into the early evening.  Good luck!  IF you get a solution, please write in and tell all of us what we can do.  Thanks!

How do you block these pesty calls through your carrier?  I have tried and I am on the "Do NOT Call Resitry" , that does not help in stopping them.  Seems my cell phone company can do nothing about stopping them.

I receive calls from this number on my cell phone.  I do not answer the phone.  I called the number from a regular phone and was told the number was disconnected.  However, who ever called left a message on my cell phone

This number will be block. When you call I do answer the phone. Other phones numbers related to this company or whatever or whoever you are posted as No answer. So you can call all you want (place the automatic machine so it calls over and over again) you will not succeed because I am not going to answer the phone.

If you fell yo are right , this is America. Come and bring all your documentation and we go to court. Plain and simple.

This call came through on my cell phone from Louisianna.  I donot recognize it  Put  my number on theDO NOT CALL LIST

same as above..no messages..waiting on Verizon contract on the phone to expire..that WILL put an end to all my unwanted calls..c'mon Feb 2013

The above numbers all are blocked on my telephone...Once I put a block on one telephone number, a week later another number comes through...The lastest one that came through today was 318 220-0220...I have been paying to have my number unlisted, so WHY IN THE HELL ARE THESE CALL STILL COMES THROUGH??????....

Repeated calls from this number. I answered once and it was someone wanting to modify loans for me. I hung up. These guys are scammers. Do not answer.

This number has called my home and cell several times in the last few weeks.  Since I never answer any calls from numbers I don't know without names and/or blocks number calls, they have never left a message.  If they were legit, then they would of left some type of message.

recd call from this # 9:10am OR time. Shreveport came up on caller ID. picked up and slammed down. Called #--disc.

I choose not to pick up calls on phone #'s I do not recognize. Is it possible that they are spoofing?

i just got a call from them also.  I called back and states it was disconnected.

On my caller ID, it just said Louisiana along with the number.

This number calls my cell several times daily. They do not leave a message. When I call back, it is a disconnected number.

Keep getting unwanted calls from this number.  Sometimes they just listen while you say hello and then hang up.

FN scammer calling from a FAKED non-working/disconnected number.

Robo-Call about "Obama Home Help" and mortgage modification - this is another UPFRONT FEE SCAM by foreigners to rip off consumers.   They want you to give them access to either your credit/debit card info or your checking/banking info so they can "process" your paperwork.

In plain English, that translates to KISS your MONEY goodbye.

They want to hook you for $995.00 in ONE payment, or $1,500.00 in 3 payments - they offer that $500 discount to get you to authorize a one time charge if at all possible.   Then they take your money, tell you to stop paying your payments - then they disappear with your cash.  

You're SCREWED by the time you realize they aren't doing anything about your situation - you're even farther behind than you had been and these guys just put you way deeper in the hole with no relief.

Keep in mind that UPFRONT fees are, and have been, ILLEGAL since January 2011.
They can NOT charge you for ANY mortgage modification services or "package" or "document preparation" until YOU the consumer has in their POSSESSION a WRITTEN and ACCEPTABLE offer of modification from your BANK that is acceptable TO YOU.   Otherwise, NO money changes hands.

Scammers are robo-calling everyone and their brother trying to get a quick buck off of desperate people, and even though common sense should tell them better, some are falling for this scam - or these baboons wouldn't still be calling.

IF you have been the victim of one of these scams - and you PAID by a CREDIT or DEBIT card you need to call your card issuer and DISPUTE the charge as fraudulent.  Have the charge reversed, file complaints with the FTC, your State Attorney General's office.
