keep getting messages from this number telling me to go to their messenger

i just got the exact same text as the one above this !

They are getting Names and numbers off of facebook profiles. Its computer generated and MANY different numbers are being used.

I got the same message... They knew my first name and when I asked who they were they said they were me and that I could talk to them through Yahoo Messenger at textflirt05. I think it is creepy that they knew my name and when I told them since they could not tell me who they are do not text me back. The said "grr..sorry my phone is dead." I never heard back from them!

Same here... they had sent a text saying "hi **********"
I responded by writing wrong number, but then they replied back with the Yahoo stuff anyway. I will update this after I check some other stuffs as well

I have been getting these same text message since 11/13 - I am being told to message them on Y! at textflirt07.  I have tracked the cell phone to Bastrop, LA and had it "pinged" to verify the actual location of the phone. I did text back and let the party know the information that I had in my possession and that I was just awaiting a more detailed report.

I was just informed that there were several thousand cell #'s sold and that you need to contact your provider immediately.  I was also advised from local authorities to make sure and watch your credit report for incorrect information or possible identity fraud.

got a text message from this number saying hey (myfirstname)! i texted back who is this they put "lol if you want to find out who this is you have to find me on yahoo messenger under textiewoman6" i replied saying that i wasnt going to download yahoo messenger just to find out who it was i told her she wasnt that important for me to go through all that and i never got a response from this number again.

Me too, they actually msg me and included my first name!
