And so it continues. . . .first text was from "Jay" @(432) 301-9893.  Wanted to know if my "advert" was still for sale.  Next series was from what I believe to be the same person, but different emails and phone numbers.  One from (972) 474-8487 who left an email of neldawallace755@gmail.com  Next was from lajuanawrg@gmail.com who sent a "private email address of sbnn77@gmail.com  A Google serach of that email brought me here.  Haven't responded to most recent emails because in my past experience, if someone wants to buy your vehicle, they just call you on the phone to talk and ask questions.  Wanted to post emails and phone numbers to warn everyone since they seem to change daily.

I have received texts from Marshal Mossy from 432-897-4857, who says he lives in Maryland. It is a Midland Texas number.
He wants to buy my car and he will make arrangements with a freight company.  He refers to the car as "this item". SCAM

Same happen to me today with Barry Owen, 702-519-5927, be careful is a SCAM.

About a month ago a barry owens texted me saying he was intersted in my car for sale & that he would pay full price that i wanted & he would use a auto transport company to move vehicle (scam) , today i got a text message from a marshal mossy from maryland that is interested in my vehicle & will also be using the auto transport company (scam) thanks everyone for posting about this or i wouldnt have known.

Got the same txt from marshal mossy @ 240-804-5293, and from franklin in tx @ 701-594-7699, and from barry owens @ 702-519-5927, and have also been contact from emails sending me txts asking me to respond to a differnt email claiming they r soldiers that r currentlymovrrseas fighting and wanted to pay via paypal and wanted all me info. Those names n emails are; Lisa Jones @ lisa010jones@gmail.com & michaeljohn454@gmail.com , and kathrynwrh@gmail.com & sbnn77@gmail.com. In fact the truely frustrating part is that I have gotten about 6 of these scam responces and NO real responces to my add for my car. I am getting very irritated. And it is becoming obvious to me that this is a very large group of people that are all working together because they are all giving the same stories and asking the same questions. I know one thing for SURE, I will never use paypal again!

Trying to sell my boat, and Marshall Mossy 240-894-5293 text me asking questions about the boat.  Did you buy it new, wants to make sure its not a junker.  He wanted me to pay Western Union the shipping charges which he said he will pay me.  He wanted me to open a PayPal account, which I thought was pretty legit, but apparently not.  Thanks for all the previous posts.

I got the same thing.  Marshal Mossy -240-804-5293 said he would arrange for pick up and then said he needed me to go to a western union so he could send the excess funds to the shipping company.  Wanted to go through Paypal.  Texted me broken english.....All sounds the same must be a scammer.  Thanks for posting this.

He just sent me a message from 240-804-5293 saying the same thing about item I have for sale.  the reverse number look up showed this was a landline in Tompkinsville, MD.  I am so glad I googled that name before replying.  It just didn't seem legit with bad English

He just contacted me on a different number and tried buying my camper I have for sale.  Scam

same thing happened to me.,,.this guy must really think we are clueless.,,.,.wanted to buy my motorcycle,.,.pay through paypal.,.,and set up shipping arrangements.,,.,.what a scam scam , scam.

I also have gotten a message about the pickup I am selling form this number. He said his name is Marshal Mossy and his english is very bad. He said he has made arrangements for a freight company to pick up my vehicle. Im not sure if this is a scam or what but see this kind of makes me wonder. I was a bit suspicious when his english was sub-par and he himself was not going to be at the pickup. If anyone else has any details on this, let me know

He uses the same name and the same number so maybe he is legit?

scammer, sent fake payment emails pretending to be paypal.  wants me to send payment overage to shipping company to ship my car for sale to them.
