I keep getting these calls and they knew my bosses name and they said they talked with her on phone but they didn't. That's when I knew they were scammers.I hid my number and called them several times and told them I want to go court. Tell them that, it makes them angry and they hang up. I said please arrest me I need a vacation.

I got the same message everyone else is getting.  First it was with the 318-553-5147 number and now they are using a 920-965-4084 number.  It is the same message used by the two different numbers.  They even have the nerve to call my daughter and my brother.  I told my relatives if they get a call from these numbers, don't answer them because they are nothing but scammers.

So far I have gotten two messages on my phone and two on my work phone. I haven't gotten any calls in a while, but they do pop up every now and then. It's the same message that other people have been getting. A recording that says that there is going to be two charges filed against me and "it looks like fraudulent activity". These people have got to stop. But every time someone new calls, I make sure I file a complaint with the FCC. I have also filed a report with the US attorney generals office in California, and I got a letter back saying that even though the number was from California, there wasn't anything they could do about it.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

?is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
?refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
?asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
?exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:

?Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.?Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.
?Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.
?Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
?Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

Got the same call, they've called in the past and it's always the same story with them. They refuse to give a company name or send any of the alleged paperwork. They claim I am in default from a loan in 2011, which is funny because at that time I was federally incarcerated. Once I mention this and tell them that I would be more than happy to send them paperwork from my federal probation officer they hang up on me. Try again guys, I might have been born at night but I wasn't born last night.

This company call and left a message on my phone threating me that I have felony charges against me and they were going to file with my employer and file charges in my county. This is without  question a scram. IF you have any idea of the Fair Debt Collection Act, everything they said is illegal as can be by Federal law. For anyone getting theses calls I highly recommend that you report them to your Attorney General's office so they may start a record of these companies and scrams. If you answer the call try to get all the information you can to place into your report, Just because someone calls you and tells you, you owe them money, ask for proof to be mailed to you. That is your legal right. Do not fall for a phone call threat. Make them prove it. 99% of the time they can not because it is not true. Beware of 318-553-5147

i just got the call at work stating "this is the process of summons division  and there will be two charges processed in my county for fraud activity with your ss# and name". blah blah.  They have been threatening me and some family members since October 2013.

The funny thing is that we are all still working! What company calls from a wireless number.  I am not able to tell the numbers so i ignore and report to FTC and FBI crime unit.  Hopefully they will get caught but who knows since they change the numbers all the time.

Continue to repot and save all voice mail messages as they can be use for evidence.

The only reason i am posting this message is so no one gets freaked out especially if it is the first time they are calling you.

Ignore.  What company calls from a wireless phone number.  DELETE  It is probably ACS Legal.  They don't give up and call from different numbers.  Let family members know if they have received calls from them before as it is a new number.

I will report them to my attorney general's and FBI crime unit.

Apparently the scammers working the fake Payday Loan scam have a new number, because they just called me. It's the standard automated call saying they're planning to file a court case and will be serving me with papers at my residence or place of employment. I've been getting these calls for several years now and even consulted an attorney. Here's the FBI's advice on how to handle this scam:  http://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/paydayloanscam_120710
