Rcv'd call on Landline 03/15/13,12:12:08PM, no message left. Did not answer phone, was not a familier number. Caller ID showed Shreveport LA

I got a call on my cell from this number about 4:15 on Thursday afternoon. When I call back it tells me that "the magic jack customer you have called is unavailable." I am also on the do not call list.

Got the same pitch about LUPUS. Told them to send me some literature and would consider it. They did not want to do that. Knew then that it was a scam. When I wouldnt commit to give money he hung up. The LSP would never call your cell asking for money.

This call came to my CELL PHONE.  I'm on the Do Not Call Register and always will be so these kinds of idiots won't call me.  

They need to be fined.  

Of course there's no voice mail.  They don't want to have evidence that they harrassed me.

This number has called my cell and my home phone. I don't know how they got my numbers because I have an unlisted home number & my cells & home number are all registered on the do not call list.

I received a call from this number also. Left no message and when I did a search for the number online, it brought me to this site. Glad I did not answer.

My cell phone is on the DO NOT CALL list as well as my husband's.   I thought telemarketers were not supposed to be calling cell phones anyway.  They called my husband's cell earlier today, and he told he could not donate.  They called his cell phone again within 30 minutes.  About an hour later, they called my cell phone, but I recognized the number and did not answer.

This is a scam there was just a news report on KTBS Shreveport stating that people are calling posing as the police asking for personal info or donations. Do not provide any information and hang up.

Just received a call from this number. Said they were done police union association out of Baton Rouge. I have been in LE for 23 years and have never heard of them.
Almost surely a scam.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone.  It was the LA Police asking for donations for a Lupus drug free program.  My question is how did they get my cell phone number?  I sent a complaint to my cell phone provider asking them not to release my number.

Never give any of your information to someone on a cell phone, ever!  Why would the state police call you and then ask you for your information?  If they have your name and date of birth, they can start credit applications.  I would check my credit report on a regular basis.

Just be careful of what you tell them if they call back!!

Nothing asked for my DOB and then they just said ok we will call you back.

What did they tell you to do??

Just got a call from it too, they said this is Louisiana police headquarters and asked for my DOB and he said they will call me back I told him then looked it up and now idk what to do. I mean they said it was police so I just did what they said  And i live in Louisiana Still in highschool so idk how they got my number.

got call on my cell phone.  didn't answer, they didn't leave message.  I added the number to my reject list.  How they got my cell number I do not know.  Apparently national do not call lists do not work!  Both my home and cell numbers are on that list.

Didnt answer.  My cell phone is private..for family and close friends.  This is an invasion of privacy.  They have called before and I told them never to call me again.  Yet they still call.

My number is out of LA, so I got a call from these folks too..  I configured my phone number to prompt for a  callers name - and it seems to throw their system for a loop.  My number is only 1 month old and I live in FL.  5 people know it. I can truly say that this number is a telemarketer or just trolling numbers.

Please don't call me anymore unless you want to give me a donation.  I could really use it. Maybe you guys should try selling a product to raise money.  You already get money from our taxes that we are forced to pay, why would i just want to give you any more?  Secondly when i called the number back to speak to someone there, an operator says the number is not in service.  What are you trying to pull!

Please quit calling my cell.  My cell is for emergencies and family only.  I am on SS and cannot afford any donations.  I have no idea how they got my cell number.

I did answer the phone on this and they wanted donation and send the sticker for your car for the firefighters group.  Dont know if it was direct or just company doing the fundraising.  It was out of Shreveport, La listed on my caller ID.  I quickly told them I was unable to give and politely said Thanks for calling and very quickly hung the phone up before they had to chance to keep talking.  They dont like taking No for an answer.

They said they were collecting money for fire fighters.
