These scumbags are debt collectors and will stop at nothing to ply their evil and Satanic ways to squeeze blood out of a stone, or cash out of Grandma. they are bottom feeding reprobates. They should be called Coastal "Unprofessionals." it is too bad that American financial crime like these b*****ds commit is not punished like it is in Europe.

Update:  Well today as with any other day it seems like these people or company just do not give up.  Here at 8:15 this morning they called my home and asked for one of my older children who owes student loans.  It's too bad but there isn't anything I can do about it because this child is an adult.  Anyways when I answered the phone it was (my child's name) with a pitch you would hear from a friend.  So with the same excitement I said "NO try again" and it went silent. After a few seconds they came back with is he/she home and I told him not at this one and please don't ask me where because I don't know were they are at the time.  You see he/she is currently being transferred to another prison which one I don't really know.  But whatever the situation is, these so called federal dept collectors should have the resources to find people who are in jail.  Then again we are talking about the government now ain't we ...

The sad thing about all of this is that we parents seems to get harassed because of what our children/child do.  I understand the student loan program but what I didn't do was co-sign.  What gives them the right to demand payment from me is unheard of.  When the kids graduate from high school and move out on their own means they should answer to their own problems.  If my child is a pile of human garbage because he/she don't pay the bill, fine but don't take it out on on us parents.  They are their own person.  Turning them in seems to do no good but once again I'll file yet another complaint.  Maybe if enough of us does that we just might get the attention of somebody who handles these and do something.

You know it is really sad that some companies will go all out and either try to trip you up or just out right lie.  This Collection Company under the control of the Federal Student Loan Program must think they are part of the IRS or something.  They are right and you for just breathing are wrong.  The fact of the matter is, they are looking for one of my oldest kids.  One would think that since they try to make you believe that they are "Federal" they should be able to find what they are looking for.  Unfortunately they want you to make their life easy for them and they will try to buddy up to you by saying "I know you're mad at you kids, but come on man, that still shouldn't stop you from telling me where he/she is."  Really?  I never make friends over the phone, especially with a collection company.  But for the last time I told them they need to do their job and calling me isn't part of it any more.  But I did tell then that the person they are looking for won't be that hard to find.  

I turned them in and made out a report for harassment, we'll see what good it'll do.

I do have outstanding student loans but I did not know that collection agencies could buy these old loans, or atleast that's what they are saying. I am not going to pay someone that I did not sign a loan with.

They called me, told me to hold for an important message. I held and then they just hung up on me. This is a new number for me and they are probably looking for the deadbeat who had the number before I did.

They called, told me to hold for an operator, I held to tell them not to call and rather than get an operator it just hung up on me. Call came at 9 p.m.

They have called every hour  today! No msg.. I do have education debt but I pay thru irs..why are they calling now???

These people have called me repeatedly at work and ask me to verify my SSN - when I refuse they become abusive and call me a loser and say they are going to call my boss and let him know that I am not paying my bills and get me fired.
Funny thing is I do not owe any debts to the dept of education or anyone beside my credit card which I pay off every month.
How can I get them to leave me alone and stop harrassing me especially at work?

I believe Coast professionals are calling my number looking for a Michele Reisen. If so, they need to use her SSN to fine her since she is using MY number to deter the Dept. Of Education about her loans. The phone calls to this number must cease or I will file a formal complaint.

They are a debt collection company for the dept. of education.

They asked for the owner by name.  Left a message asking him to return the call regarding "some paperwork they have for him".  Appears to be a debt collection company, but I suspect they are soliciting to buy outstanding debts as we are a business.

They keep calling my home very late

THIS IS A DEBT COLLECTOR.  I know I have debt, my identity was stolen a few years ago and I haven't been able to afford bankruptcy (ironically).  318-807-6309

Coast "Professionals"... I believe they are a debt collection agency. They try to call me sometimes from various numbers, some with ID and some without, but I have no idea why, and I am not curious either.  I KNOW I have no outstanding debts. Previous posts in 800Notes suggested they have been abusive and brash (or is this what they call professionalism in their part of Lousiana?), and that is all the reason I need to "dist" them on a professional level. If it was truly legit, they would have sent a notice by mail.
