Direct tv and dish network are affiliated at some level (i've been told).
They, dish, claim that I owe 15.00.  
I have already placed a letter of dispute-as i was told one story by the company one day and another story another day. (What kind of training do they give their minimum wage staff?)  And they left their eyesore dish on my roof for me to remove!
My credit card company stopped payment on them or else they would have gotten the tiny disputed amount along time ago.  How much man hours do they waste on this kind of stuff?  I know some have large bills that should take some kind of responsibility as our country is carrying a lot of people who might be able to work but don't.  Others have real problems and need help.  Wow, what a mess.

Got a call from this number this morning...rang once and then stopped. Now that I've read this thread I'm very curious as to why they are calling me as I've never had an account with DirecTV, much less defaulted on the payments, and would never as I am totally satisfied with my current cable company. So far, I've only gotten the one call, but if they call again, is there any number one can call to tell them they've literally got the wrong number? Thanks.

Yes they called me too. Asking if I still lived at a address I never lived at. I said no I never lived there that I'm aware of. They wanted me to verify my last digits to my social # but wouldn't tell me who they are. Just kept saying it was personal. I said yes it is personal because I'll not verify anything till you tell me who you are.They finally commented that they were cbe. I ask what does that stand for? She said it's not an acronim.They're out of Iowa.I gather a collection company from what I have learned on line search. Found the company headquarters Des Moines Iowa.Very freaky when someone calls you with your private info and won't tell you any thing till you verify it huh? It should be against the law. They should pay us for all the stress they caused by making us think some hacker got our private info . I had to call my bank and check my account & lost sleep over it. :(

I receive calls from this number on my cell phone. there is never anybody on anything on the other end,it is just silent.

For about a month, I was getting calls everyday at exactly 0820 (suspicious enough right there), and now it's switched to 1110.  Never answered them because I'm always at work at those times, but I've tried calling back to let them know I have no business with them, and all I got was a recording that says "All circuits are busy, please try your call again later."   Finally though, I did get connected and at first it was a recording saying "Thank you for calling the CBE Group.  We apologize for the wait time, but we know that your call is important" (paraphrased) in a smooth, woman's voice with a British accent.  After a 20 minute wait with the pretty Muzak, I gave up.

To add to my previous comment, I have never had anything to do with this company and my phone number is unlisted.  My only guess is they've gotten this number because of a previous tenant in this apartment.

Just got a call on my cell from this company looking for someone else who had my phone number previously. I called them back, talked to Amir and he was nice. Told him to take my number out of the system as it is a wrong number. He said "Sorry for that, I'll take care of it". Seemed nice. We'll see if I get future calls.

I get this call and they ask me to verify my address without telling me who thay are, I know who they are now, ( I google thier phone number ) I am sure they have to let you know who and what the call is about. I would be happy to talk to them,as long as they follow the rules.

I owed a small amount ($40) to Direct Tv after I cancelled.  Since I was on auto credit card payment, I thought they would take care of it.  They didn't... So I mailed them a check for $40.  Then I owed them another small amount for late fees ($5).  I still got calls from CBE.  After seeing them on caller ID, I went to Direct TV's website and saw the $40 payment posted and then paid the last $5.  Then I called CBE to tell them to leave me alone now, and she yelled at me...told me it was a mistake that I didn't pay CBE vs. Direct Tv.  Then I got trapped in the automated attendant to try to sign up for new Direct Tv service.

Got this call at 8:17 am but wasn't able to pick up the phone in time. Searched the number and came up with tons of complaints about it. I have never had direct tv and never never never ever will have it either. A couple of days ago someone in India was calling me on behalf of the Dish Network trying to sell a subscription--I wonder if there is a connection between the two and now this CBE number is being used as a bounce forwarder for salespeople in India to bug everyone?  A few months ago I was being bombarded multiple times a week with people using sleazy switchboard numbers such as this one trying to sell Dish Network subscriptions. Looks like they are coming back again. BTW I am in the do not call registry but that does not stop any of these pushy people from calling me to sell subscriptions even though they are meant to use the do not call registry.

3192741904 - callsa & hangs up daily!!! I put my account on hold since where I lived we were not capable of putting a dish. I finished my 2 years but then thwy sent me a 450 bill in the mail!!! if the last couple of months don't count to my contract simply freeze it until I move back there in a month. they say they can't because it is in "collections". I got this bill 2 weeks ago & have sent MANT messages with no returns. I told them I would like to continue my services with them in a month or 2 when I move back... "well its in collections already" 6 motnhs of unused time is 450... ok can we unfreeze it in a month its in collections... how could something be in collections... I paid my bills? this very wrongm I told them I want to continue service... they didn't care & that was the manager!!! now they r calling me 3 times a day... when I called them to get it straightened out because there must be a boo boo somewhere!

I had DIRECTV but when I had to move into a apartment that would not except them the first person I spoke with was very understanding and said that all I had to do was send the receivers back later on I found out different when I received a bill and started getting harassment calls from the collection company, Don't ever sign up with this company they are a fraud

You guys are great! I'm sooo glad that I Googled this number before answering. They'd been calling me once or twice a day every day for the past 2 weeks now! They are now successfully programmed into my phone for a more effecient screening :)

I cancelled DirecTV and they did not send the boxes for returned equipment.  When they finally did send them, they told me I owed for three more months.  I returned the equipment but refused to pay the extra amount.  I did offer to pay one month extra so they would quit calling but they never replied to my offer.  They call about twelve times each week and I refuse to answer.  I have saved all emails to and from them.  I have Dish at home and it works perfectly.
