nobody answers so reporting it

When i answer, no one is there - I called back and they refused to tell me who they were representing. So, I called them back 25 times, when they answered, just held the phone...not saying a word...and will continue to do this daily - multiple times until they stop calling me.

I've had three calls from these guys: 4/4, 4/8, 4/13 and 4/21. There was no answer the first couple of times and no messages the others. I just moved back to the States in January so I can't possibly owe anyone. Plus, this is on my cellphone which is also on the Nat'l Do Not Call Registry. Hopefully there is an attorney out there who'll peruse this site and nab some of these unscrupulous people.

I get a call from this number at least once a day. When I answer, no one is there and the line is disconnected 30 seconds later if I sit there and listen for someone. I have never had a Verizon cell phone and don't have any credit card bills.

I keep getting call from this number as late as 8:00pm at night. I don't answer and am not going to due to the fact that I know that I don't owe anyone. I am also getting calls from 303-595-8100 which upon research shows that they are a collection agency for Verizon Wireless, also a phone company. I just got a new cell phone number. I suspect someone before me owed something.

The collection agency has been given my business number as a false contact for reference.  A phone call to CBE Group Inc had my number removed from the file.

The person was helpful and polite after hearing my explanation of the annoying daily calls and eluded to their phone system not functiong properly in forwarding to an agent automatically when the call is created by an autodialer.

I can only assume their collection customers are giving false information to avoid paying bad debts.

Calls a lot never leaves messages.  Don't owe any money to phone companies like MCI or Verizon, can't imagine what it's about.  I will try to answer the phone when they call again, it's totally annoying seeing my Caller ID light up and this number come as "Telemarketer."  I'm on the Do Not Call List.

They keep calling but they never leave a message. I'm sure that if it was a collection agency they will leave a message with a call back number.

I keep getting calls from (319) 274-1907 which is a collection agency.  They are trying to get ahold of a Judy Gerber, which I knew some time ago.  Now she has given out my number instead of hers and they are trying to collect from her.  I wish they would stop calling.  I have told them several times I do not know where she is or how to get ahold of her.

Have received 4 calls from them so far (I have not anwsered) and I certainly am not in arrears with any bills.

This is CBE, a collection agency claiming they are collecting for MCI balance due. They inflate the MCI amount and call it a "tariff". In this case the "tariff" is $64. Probably an inflated amount they paid MCI or what MCI will gets in return on a balance due of $178. When asked if they would send me a letter stating the account would be reported to the credit agencies when they receive my check, they said they would.  When I spoke to MCI agent I requested an itemized bill for their charges to me. I did not make the calls but they came from my cordless phone by a grandson.Finally I received an itemized bill from MCI and the same day got a call from CBE claiming I owe $54 more than what MCI showed on the bill. Since I intend to pay for what I am responsible for, I will send CBE a check with words written on back "PAYMENT IN FULL" account # xxxxxxxx. Cashing this check completes our agreement" .

Further investigation of this CBE group (use google search) and you will find they claim representation to other telephone companies. Hope this ends up in court as I will have cancelled check in hand and then see if they followed through with credit agencies. I also from the start, informed CBE caller "do not call my number again" as per the law. But I pay my bills so lets see where it goes.

This is a collection agency.  Making contact is very difficult and nonproductive to resolve the blank phone calls that are repeated daily.

don't know who this is , or why they are calling me. i got a message from an erica to call this number but no detail message why i should call. how do i get these people to stop calling me?

I have received many calls from this number.  The last time we held on and listened to what they wanted.  Trying to verify that I was someone with the same first name, but not the last name.  they obviously have the wrong person

I keep getting calls from (319) 274-1907 but they won't man-up and leave a message and I won't answer when the caller id says telemarkter.  I finally found a number that you can actually leave a message and maybe you can keep calling them to harass them.  I let them know that I was putting them on report and that if I get another message that I'm suing them for harassment.  Really, if I owed anything they wouldn't be such dirtbags and I think it's a plow to hassle money from innocent people.

I am getting at least one call per day from this number.  It is Verizon, trying to collect for an additional month after my contract ended.  I thought they might try and to this, so was very careful in letting them know I was not going to renew at the end of the contract and paying the bill in full at the end of the month.  I have written to the agency trying to collect twice, but they don't care -- it's no skin off their teeth if they wreck credit ratings, so I guess they get a lot of people to pay up.  Not me though!

They started calling me a week ago while I was gone and the calls were up to about every 12 hours yesterday. After looking at these posts, I called them directly and they were looking for a woman with my last name but a different first name. I've gotten her collection calls for years. The woman was nice and apologized and said they would remove my number from their listing.

They call me too. Says her name is Mariah. Have no clue who they are.

Actually as a financial advisor i am working in USA. Recently i got some calls from 319-274-1907 no. & the person was asking about some outstanding amount which i need to pay within 2 days. They're driving me crazy too... I am also disputing the charges because Verizon is trying to charge me an early termination fee when I purposely waited out my contract end date. It's so frustrating.

I did exactly as you suggested and it went smoothly. The guy I spoke to (not sure if he was actually a manager) was polite and courteous.

There was no detail. I work for Verizon and I do have a wireless phone but my bill is and has been paid in full. I dont see any charges showing I owe.

Called while I was taking a call from an "old friend". Automated voice. I called back and the male voice immediately stated my name and said this is a call to collect a debt when I called the number. Then he asked is this Anita. I told him evidently it was since for some reason he "assumed" it was. I asked what was the call concerning and he wanted to know where i received my mail and again was I Anita. I told him he had better get to the answer before I hang up the phone. He then said do us both a favor and hang up. I did. When I called back I get a busy tone, each time.

319 274 19078 -- this number has been constantly calling me for months and there is NO one on the other line responding to my "hellos"... It is quite frustrating because the phone rings in ALL hours of the day and night without any response. It is creepy... kinda like a stalker calls.

A representative called tonight looking for someone named Damitria Calvin. Usually they call during the day and leave an automated message. In the message they begin to tell you that they can be reached at 1-800, and then the message ends.

Tonight was a lot different. This time they called at 8:55pm and there was a live person on the other end. When I asked the rep what number he was trying to dial he said that he was trying to dial this number. He said that my number was automatically dialed. I told him that I have been getting a lot of calls for a person that never lived here. He said that he would take my number out of the system, but I think I'm going to just change my number and ensure that it is not published.

It originates, on my caller ID, from Iowa.  I don't know anyone in Iowa , so I don't pick up.  They never leave a message but just hang up.  They have called at all hours.  Of course if they are calling from Iowa, there is a time change.
