Why they won't identify themselves when they call,  suggests that someone may be spoofing the company.  The company's blurb tries to tell the reader how professional they are and are never rude like some debt collectors.   Right.

Call blocker is your best bet.

Also don't talk to 'em; don't give them any information.  If they call you and you DO talk to 'em, tell 'em that you know this is  a scam and tell 'em to go to hell.  Do it very loudly.

Other than that--don't pick up on numbers you don't recognize.

File complaints Avery.. or have your parents do so. Also contact your phone service provider and file complaints. Does your phone possibly have call blocking? There are free apps available for that that will work on some phones. Some of the newer ones already have blocking on them.  Make sure your parents specify in their complaints filed that you are a minor.

I've been getting these calls for a while now , I owe no one money I'm only a child for heavns sakes

I keep get phones calls from this number. How to stop them from calling me?

I have been receiving phone call from 319-432-7602 for about a month now and have no idea  how to get it to stop...has anyone figured out how to stop them from calling permanently besided blocking the number? Anyone figure out who they really are?

They call and dont answer

I have been dealing with this number for a quite a while now. They call me about two to three times a day.  I've answered a few times, but no response. They hang up as soon as I answer.

They are the collection agency the gov't uses for student loans.

They kept calling me during the day, for a week. I blocked them. Picking up the phone = waste of time.

I keep getting the same calls daily 3-4 times a day... never leave a message or say anything...  if they do speak, they threaten legal actions, serving papers, get you terminated from your job and such... all to get your banking/credit information over the phone.............  it's a SCAM!!!!

Received a call, on my cell phone, from this number.  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.  I do not owe anyone any money and just wonder how they got my cell phone number.

These people call at night and morning.  I never answer but it's getting so annoying especially because they call my cell phone

Sick of all these phone calls for someone that owes money! Collection agencies do not have to adhere to the "DO NOT CALL List" or a DO NOT CALL request.  CBE Group collection agency uses an 866 number and this phone number.  Mostly the caller does not leave a message and hangs up.  Callers from the 866 number may leave a CBE Group message occasionally.

Get calls from the same.  If it is a cell phone as some have suggested, perhaps flood it with TXT's so to reverse the harassment.  I do not know how to check cell or not except to call it about 3-4am and see what the message greeting says. Anyone harassing with a cell phone need's to be flooded.  The same as I do to harassing txt's as a result of someone not liking the idea of holding a price on craigslist. There are mechanisms on the internet for voice dial and txting that can be  controlled in a robotic and high speed fashion.

They announce CBE and provide me with a wrong address and was looking to get deeper personal info on me. As soon as I asked question about the reason of this call, they quickly hang up!!!

This number has been calling me each time more, they call and don't say anything, it's getting annoying ,I don't owe nothing.

This number keeps calling my cell phone over and over.  I reject and delete them.  Don't know them, don't owe $...???

I got a call from this number today. Yesterday, I signed up for something online that had to do with reducing student debt...supposedly. I had to provide my phone number :/ Figured I'd start getting strange calls...and I am! It's the only thing I can think of to explain sudden random calls.
