Called my son's cell and said he was with the phone company and needed him to press 1 on the land line. Strange considering he was calling a cell phone and we don't have a land line. My son held down on the 1 and it dialed his voicemail and hung up on the caller. Told him not to listen to anyone that called from a number that he didn't know.

This 319-535-2429 number called me on March 11th @ 6:44 pm and I have no idea who this person is. I don't appreciate people calling me whom i have never talked to, heard of, or seen before! it is very annoying and I want it to stop!

Multiple calls to my cell phone, no message left. Reported to FCC.

This phone number showed up on my list of missed callers.  No message left.  Surely don't know anyone with this area code.

I received a call from this number last week.  I pressed the option to be added to their "do-not-call" list.  Despite the forgoing, today I received another call.  I pressed the option to receive "more information" and a pleasant lady came on the line and said, "How are you doing today?"  I asked what company she is with, and she said, "Security Services."  I asked where the company is based and the lady hung up on me.  I called back the number that appeared on caller ID and got a voice-synthesized message saying I had been contacted for marketing purposes.

I believe this is an information-gathering scam where the scammer has a phone number and attempts to get information to tie to the number (name, address, etc.).

A couple months ago I contacted FrontPoint security regarding their security system offerings.  Several emails later after talking with them, I did not respond, it is not the security system for me.  Now, mysteriously, I am receiving a phone call from a security company who wants to place a small sign in my yard.  The call starts off with "The FBI..."  

This is a very sad sales tactic.  

I would suggest you complete this form as I have done if you receive calls from this number, even if you don't answer.

They called me on my SKYPE!   LOL   It said I had a voice mail, but there was only a 1 second "whizz" sound, then silence.

I just would like to know who called me.

Not sure of the company, but it's some sort of outbound IVR (automated call). If you call the number back it's a telemarketing firm.

Got a call last night at about 11:30 pm ...no voice mail no message... it really pissed me off because of the time - it woke me up!!!

Rang, then stopped, then rang again. No voicemail. It would be great to track down the computer assigned to doing this and break it, then possibly break the head of the person who programmed in my number.

It is a marketing call for a free security system!!!! All you have to do is have a sign placed at your residence and the police will provide you with free invasion of your privacy. Sounds great :)

This number called me said hello 3 times with no answer. Called it back and a message says "you have been called for telemarketing services" "if you don't want to receive these calls press any key now"

Rec'd call on cell phone.  Did not answer and no VM left.  Googled # and came to this site. Apparently DNC list does not work.

Today I received two calls 314-627-2979 and 319-535-2429 do not answer!

I got a call from them about a month ago saying they were Holland Cruise Line and calling because I had entered a contest at Bass Pro Shop. Then they tried to sell me vacation packages around the country even though I repeatedly declined. I finally just hung up.

Seems harmless.  Only got this call once, and didn't get it in time to answer.  When I called back, I got the recording that says hit any key to remove from call list.  When you hit any key, it takes you to a busy signal.  Still wonder why they are calling a Celphone, but I guess even cels aren't sacred anymore.
