Called, left no msg. CID said Cedar rapids, Iowa.

Same thing here...and this morning, the SOB told me f*ck you when I told him to take my # off their list!  I have them on my Call Blocker but they still get through.  Why can't someone do something about these crooks?

I just received a call from Iowa 319-777-0000 and heard the auto message. as I wanted to gather enough info to turn them in to the NO Call, There was no opportunity to opt out of future calls.  I proceeded to request his  name -- Stephen Marshall. He volunteered the last four numbers of his SS -- 0037. I asked for his location -- Atlanta, GA and his phone number -- 1-900-VISA 911. He continued to ask me on which credit card I wanted to lower my interest rate. He repeated five credit card names -- none of which I actually use. He continued to honor my request to permanently  remove me from the call list saying he couldn't do it, but gave me no alternative number to call to do so. I told him I would be turning him. He became angry and said, "You don't even know" and then hung up on me. Hopefully, I wasted enough of his time to avoid his calling and scamming someone else. I suppose his giving me "his last four number of his SS" was supposed to build trust. He failed! Most people are on to these scams. The people who are a concern to me are the elderly and mentally challenged.

Repeated calls from Cardholder Services.  This is an automated message which gives the option to speak with an associate (Press "9").  I asked them to cease and desist, but continue to receive calls on both of my land lines.

07-24-2012 @ 12:21 PM, 319-777-0000, Cedar Raids, IA., called.  After 3 rings I picked up phone and said hello 3-4 times, but no answer.  I then pressed the # key, which beeps a steady tone until you let it up.  When I finally let the # key up, there was no one there.  This same scammer called on 3/21/2012 @ 1:27 PM.  On that call, I let the answering machine take the call, but they left no message.  We are on the DNC lists for Federal and State.  These calls will be included in my log, and when I have a couple of pages of them, I will be forwarding them to the Missouri State Attorney General. I just mailed off a 2 page scammer report to the AG last week.  Haven't heard form them yet.  I'd still like to put a stick of dynamite up their butt's and light the fuse.  Better yet, stick a shotgun barrel up their butt and then pull the trigger!!

When questioned on the validity of the call, I was interrupted numerous times. I am not one to use profanity on the phone, regardless of who it is, but they heard every word that exists. Total BS scam

Called at my office and told me they were responding to my inquiry about a low cost credit card. Told them I never made any inquiry and not to call me again. They told me I shouldn't have pressed 9 then told me to eat s...Replied in kind to them.

Caller I D "Cedat RPDS IA" Same as always this is your last opportunity to cut your interest rastes in half. I wander how many times they will be calling and telling me it its my last chance, because they keep calling anyway. SICK OF THESE DAMN PHONE CALLS If you request to have youtr number taken off the caling list they tell you to wait 72 hours and they wll no lkonger call that's a lie, they never take your nuimber off the damn lst. OBama needs to be called several times a day and see how he likes it. Oh, I forgot he has someone to answer his phone for him.

They keep telling me it is my last opportunity...if only.  Yesterday I told the gal I was on the do not call list and she said the only reason they call is because my credit card company gave them the info.  I checked, and as I suspected, it is not true.  I keep telling them they are a scam, but they keep calling anyway.  Why aren't they fined?  They have been reported .

I have recieved at least 75 calls from this organization this year - from 6 different numbers.
Upon my answering, there is always a recording annoucing that the call is from Card Holder Servicies -blah - blah - blah and if I want to lower my interest rates I am to press "1".
Note to the reader: THESE CALLS ARE FRAUD CALLS DESIGNED TO GATHER PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM YOU that once given will RUIN your credit.
Not having my usual air horn handy, I simply said "I know this is a scam".
To which a man in an African accent said, " F**K You".
I returned the sentiments and hung up.

There is no way our pathetic Federal Gov't can control / stamp out these calls.
As soon as you here a woman's voice announce "Card holder Services . . ." hang up.

I got a no-answer call from 319-777-0000 at about 2 pm Thursday June 21, 2012, one of several I have gotten

Received a call from this number today.  When I answered, a recorded message from "card services" informed me that "time is expiring to lower my interest rate."  

I hit 9 to speak with a customer service representative.  A man with a strange accent said hello.  I then blew a rape whistle as loudly as I could in the speaker and hung up.

The state and national "Do-Not-Call" registries are a quarterly sign up. If you do not resign up every 3 months, you will no longer be on the list next time it comes out. So remind yourselves to go to the web site and redo it every 3 months.

I've gotten 2 of these calls this week, even though I'm on the No Call List. The one today, I pushed "9" and got a young male voice on the phone ID"ing himself as my "call center", I asked him what I could do for him today? He replied "do you know who I am?" I responded, " No, That's why I'm asking what can I do for you today, as your call interrupted me at work." He told me to "Lick my d*** you S.O.B." and promptly hung up on me.
These people are offering to lower your credit card rates, but in reality they are fishing for credit card numbers to rip you off. These people should be jailed!

Received call from this number - hit 0 to ask to be removed - was put on a brief hold - when operator came back he began to as inappropriate and sexually harrassing questions.

They just called me today and said to hit "9" if I wanted to lower my interest rates. I hit "9" because I am on the do not call list and was going to tell them to remove my name. The man answers, I politely ask to be removed from their calling list. He starts screaming at me that I called him. I then politely asked for his manager and he started cursing at me and told me I was a crazy old woman. I said "excuse me?" and he hung up on me. I called back to ask for a manager and I am blocked from ringing through. What good is being on the govt. do not call list if you get these calls? I get them all the time. ugh.

These guys called me too, but when I said hello, I was fortunate not to hear a voice! Yippee!  I have a policy that I answer it because my husband does contract IT work, but if I don't hear anyone speak within a short period of my hello, I hang up.  

My suggestion?  That there be a way that you could get a notification beep or message on your handset if it is a telemarketer or similar, for those of us that are on the do not call list.  What is that supposed to do, anyway?  What is the penalty if someone gets caught calling when they are not supposed to?  I am on it, and I still get calls.

Morons have tried calling twice now, never picked up their call but they should definantly be put out of business. "Hey big Brother" where you at when D-bags like this are pulling this crap for months on end??? Somebody needs to invent the Telephone shank so these people can get what they deserve.

This may be a scam, and most likely is a phishing type call to get personal info. I asked them to remove me from their list and stop calling, they put me on hold and never returned. Report them to both National and your State No Call if you are registered. If not, get registered immediately and file complaints when you get these type calls. It is the only way they will ever be stopped or prosecuted. Also, some of these type calls now have equipment which clones phone numbers and it will show as what looks to be a legitimate number, but actually doesn't exist. Many of those are overseas callers.

WHO IS THIS SCUM???

I frequently receive these calls.  I am on supposedly on the "do not call" list which I understood would curtail calls like this for lowering my credit card interest rate.  These calls do not make any sense since I have no "interest rate" at all.  Everything comes right out of my bank account.  These people are disgustingly obtrusive!!!!

This number calls me about 5 times a day as soon as i answer nobody says anything for like a minute then they hang up and call me again 2 hours later. i am getting really disgusted anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of them?

i said I don't have a credit card that I owe on.  I want my number taken off .... and before I could finish I get someone dialing over me .... when I tried to finish saying ... "I want my number off your call list"  I got more dialing over me.  Then I continued " this is a no call numb.... " then the line went dead.

HOW DO I GET THEM TO QUIT CALLING MY HOUSE ONCE, TWICE A DAY?!?!?!?!?

CALL TYPE IS TO LOWER MY CREDIT CARD INTEREST RATE ... then they ask me what kind VISA OR MC do I wish to get my interest rate lowered on.

Maybe if we had a phone system that wasn't centered around circa-1919 technology it would be easier to find the REAL source of these calls and get them stopped and get the responsible parties prosecuted.

It is nice to know that all the so called options, blocked numbers, do not call and so forth we still have to put up with this  crap.
