This is a number for a collection agency called Jefferson Capital LLC. They specialize in trying to sell you on the idea of transferring you debts to a credit card to "help" you. It's Bull... They never leave a message either.

They call me atleast once weekly and never leave a message. When I try to call back I get disconnected.

I keep getting numerous phone calls from this company - they never leave messages.

i keep recieving calls from them asking for a person that i have never heard of. they do have the phone number correct, but it is under my name not the person they are asking for. they call me daily and it gets very annoying.

Called my cell phone and talked to my voice mail, asking for someone else.  A family member.

I don't appreciate this kind of call.  If they have an issue with someone, then they NEED to call THAT person.

I just received a call on my cell phone this morning. I've never had anyone from this number call before. I usually hit "ignore" (i'm sooo happy for that feature now). They didn't leave a message.

Yeah they call and dont leave a message. Once, I picked up and some indian chick was telling me I needed to send money for an outstanding debt. When I told her that the debt was a credit card account opened in my name in Kansas and that Ive never been to Kansas, she got ticked and started yelling and talking real fast telling me I need to take responsibility. She sounded like  Abu from the Simpsons. I couldn't stop laughing so she finally hung up.

They called me twice 320-229-8417 and 320-229-8418 they looking for andrew chung. whe the heck wrong with this people ofcourse im not andrew chung. I told her im not andrew chung. and hell no why should i give my full name from that call. Its might terrorist trying to steal my identity.

Beware on this no. they might wants to gets your identity.

They called for my ex.I told him she no longer lived here. When I offered him a number for her he said he didn't need it.

They Call me Daily....between 7:00am and 9:00pm..of course i dont answer unknown numbers on my cell phone so it goes to voicemail, they never leave a message and they just call back later....i also googled Jefferson Capital it looks as though they are a collection agency, i was under the impression that collection agencies must leave messages saying at least that the reason for the call was in attempt to collect a debt. if you arnt "THIS PERSON" please hang up or delete the message at this time..(im sure we've heard that speech.) (gotta love fed. law)im getting pissed...wonder what we can do about this?

Today, I received a call from this number.  The youngman on the phone asked for directly.  When he was told I wasn't home.  He asked for a time that I could be reached.  When he was told I was out of town, he hung up.  Foolish people.  This HARASSMENT is against the law.  It's really rediculous for them call you at all times of the day and night on the phone that you have to pay for!  I am truly sick of them.

They called 6 times from same area code, prefix and different last four but I didn't answer as they show up unknown and don't leave messages. Finally I called them back and got Jefferson Capital a collection agency. They were going on about my ex's debt from 2000 which was before "us" and now there is no "us". They said I had to find him and/or pay it as they were owed the money. I just laughed and hung up. I re-registred all of my numbers on the do not call registry and will answer the next time they call to say DON'T CALL ME AGAIN OR I WILL SUE YOU! They were rude and acted as if I should just shake in my boots and send them some cash. DUH.

These people continue to call with a recorded message telling me to "hold for a representative." AS IF. Who the heck do these people think that they are. To continually and repeatedly disturb us in our homes. If they had a legitimate reason to call me, there would be a real voice on the other end and it would be asking for me by my recognized name, and not telling/expecting me to simply and blindly follow the instructions of a recorded message. Timothy McVeigh's message may have been better understood had he have directed it in another direction.

CompuCredit - a bill collector
