I got a call today from (320) 324-8095, and my cell phone said "Minnesota", but no city name. I said hello 3 times and they hung up on me. I like to answer these calls, because most of the time its a recording, and they give you the option to press #8 to be removed from their list. If they are a scammer, which 99.9% are scammers, then I have a reason to tell them off and call them every name in the book. I hope I make them feel bad, because what they are doing is so wrong. Especially to the elderly, who do not know any difference.

All these calls can be traced back to one individual. The government is well aware who he is. However, since the calls originate outside the U.S, ((number on caller I.D. is fake, and changes constatntly to overcome blocked call lists), the government is powerless under current laws. Pressure needs to applied to the phone services, who can refuse to do business with him. But since they have no reason to intervene, they allow this to continue.

Received a call on my cell...didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. no message was left. tried to call back and the number was disconnected. Doesn't quite make sense so clearly this is not a legitimate caller.

Just rec'd a call. Waited as these calls have been increasing in frequency and selected option #1 to speak to someone. A women calling herself Diana Beckwith with Credit Management Assistance asked who I was and then proceeded to disconnect. When I returned a call to this number there was a pre-recorded message suggesting the number was disconnected.

If these crooks received heavy fines for each call they made, we could balance the national budget!

Oops, Definitely

I got two of these call from two different numbers today and when I pressed 1 I got a person. First one I asked to have my number removed and he said "SHUT UP" and hung up. Second call (different number) I pressed 1 and got a person who I asked to connect me to a manager, he said yes and please hold and he hung up.
Differently a scam, beware

Another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers in their attempts to rip us off. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!

Got a call from this number, they left no message, I called back with my number blocked and got a message that the number was disconnected with a weird digital modem like sound... But it's just the ring tone, if you let it go it will actually say that the mobile subscriber is unavailable right now.
john nielsen 2013-05-24 19:10:05 Unknown
I did pick it up in time

Just declined this call. These folks must think we are all stupid.
Kent 2013-05-24 17:57:40 Telemarketer
Didn't answer it and glad I didn't. I made a contact out of the number with a "silent" ringer and no vibration so I'll never hear from this one again!
clay 2013-05-24 17:51:32 Unknown
Got this one, but never answer unknown numbers. Glad to have this resource to confirm that it is just a scam call. Don't worry about "Do Not Call" lists, that is just applicable to landlines. The bigger problem is that it is illegal to random dial cellphones, but they do it all the time and get away with it. Remember, "Don't Answer!" If you answer one if these, then you'll get logged as a "real" number and get many more calls from scammers.

The "people" (creatures) calling you were the "card services" scammers who pretend to be associated with our credit card companies in an effort to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off. These lowlifes "work" on a commission cheating folks in order to support their disgusting habits. Beware of these scum, and warn others before they are taken advantage of!

Answered the # and it is Lower your interest rates. When I tried to hit #1 to talk to a live person, it hung up. Really, why can't the goverment enforce the DO NOT CALL LIST and get rid of these scammers!

Definitely a scam to get credit card information. Claim to be able to lower rates on a 'visa' or 'mastercard.' When I told the guy I believed he was a scammer looking to get my credit card information, he said people fall for it 'hook, line and sinker.' Then he hung up.

Got this call, said it was a company to lower interest rates on credit cards. When I told them I didn't feel comfortable with providing information, they hung up on me. Definitely a scam
