I got two calls like these for jobs. One from McNeill-PPC, Nancy Spencer and one from Odyssey Technologies - Debra Smith and Logan Robson. They were both jobs from home and they were very fishy. Not sure if these are legitimate or not. Once you start asking questions, they just don't respond anymore.

I am  Mr. Mark Shields  i am the Director of  Quality  Control and Employee  Compliance of (Odyssey Technologies Ltd), I am contacting you in regards of your resume posted , Let me know once you get this".... this guy almost pulled one on me but I am thankful that my wife did some research...somebody please get these scammers...it's really getting annoying.

I received a text from 302-412-182.  The text stated "I am Mr. Mark Shields i am the Director of Quality Control and Employee Compliance of (Odyssey Technologies Ltd). I am contacting you in regards of your resume posted , Let me know one you get this."  I have and will not text this number back.  I don't the ink the Director of anything would send me a text about employment.

I received a text today that read "Good Day i hope you are doing great! I'm just annoyed he's using my unlimited texts, haha! Now off to continue this job search since this is a obvious scam.

I received a text message from this number about an hour after I updated my resume in a job database here in Texas:
 I'm Dr. Mark Shields i am the Director of Quality Control and Employee Compliance of (Fortis Healthcare Limited)your resume posted has been received and Forwarded POSITIONS AVAILABLE ARE: Data entry, office assist, admin clerk, Front desk, sales manager, sales rep, book keeping, customer care, Marketing, payroll clerk, medical biller, Receptionist and Front desk. Which are you interested in?"
 I instantly googled the company and the company exists but it is out of India so I don't know why they would contact me. I went through with the yahooIM and as "Dr. Mark Shields" explained to me that they are hiring for people to work from home. That is when I looked up the number on here and found the other messages. I quickly messaged the individual back and told them that I was not interested in working from home and that I was not interested in the position. It is very unfortunate that there are people out there wasting my time and offering fake job opportunities. What is this world coming to?

received a text from this number approximately 3 hours after posting a resume draft to the archive of my resume bulding server.

I typed out this text exactly as it was sent to me, with all punctuation, capitallization and everything intact.

my response was as follows...
"my specialization is currently in criminal investigation, with a focus on cyber forensics and security. Which position do you think my skills would be most suited to in your organization?"

i have not received a response....

I just got a text from a "Sir Albert Robb" saying that he works for Merrill Lynch and that he saw my resume and wanted to set up an interview. I started asking question because I know this is a big firm. I told him  that I was surprised that they recruit via text. He said nothing was wrong with that. Then he said this was a position that I can work from home until they get their office open by where I live. I googled Merrill Lynch and there is already one in my area. He then said that I need a yahoo ID and I need to add Gabriela King on my buddy list. I searched Gabriella King and she works in the Canada firm. So I said why would she be doing the interview, when she works in Canada. He replied that is the person that you need to add. I then said that I did my research and their company would not recruit via text and their hiring process is extensive. He called me a fool and I should take my credentials else where.

Supposed Mr. George Gunn, Manager at Merill Lynch & Company Inc. texted me from 320-412-1872 about my resume posted on onmyway.com. I've never used that site and haven't worked with any sort of job hunters that could have it advertised on there.

I never  make my resume searchable on websites and keep a record of everything I apply to. So I checked this site and realized I have no account there. Google d George Gunn at ML, there is a George Dunn, but no George Gunn. I am in the medical field so Merrill Lynch was the first red flag....lol

I believe this George Gun person is soliciting sites such as Craigslist.org. I have been sending my resume to "jobs" and apparently he's gotten a hold of it because he is NOW texting me. saying he is the manager for Merrill Lynch & Co. regarding my resume and to let him know when I receive his text. I haven't answered and don't plan to.

I also received a text from George Gunn. This guy is a scammer. He said he is a manager at Merryl Lunch & found my résumé on o job hunting website. He said he wanted to interview me via yahoo I'm. I didn't believe him at all & told him he was bogus!!!

This guy, George Gunn, sent me many text messages in rapid succession.  Without a data plan, these texts cost me money to read.  I called, but he doesn't answer or return calls, or send emails.  If I ever find him, he will regret his actions.  He is an a-hole who deserves to be dismembered, cooked and fed to the dogs.  People with unlimited data should also overload his inbox at 320-412-1872.  Some of us are serious jobhunters with a great deal of education, experience and need.  If he ever jaywalks in front of me, I promise to stay on the gas!

I got the same number as a text message on my phone telling me my resume posted on onmyway.com and that he is a Manager from Merrill Lynch.

I just received the same call from a George Gunn. Then I looked up the number because I was a little skeptical. I am now reporting the number to sprint because that is the carrier of the number

Got a text message from George Gunn Manager for Wistron Corporation.  Contacting me in regards to my resume posted on youremployment.com.  I've been selected for an online interview with him now.  Interview will be contucted via Yaghoo messenger IM, that way it's faster.

I got a call from this number saying. I won a sweepstakes.

called and said he found my name on autojobs.com.  I sell cars - i am not in biopharmaceuticals

There is not a person at Novartis by George Gunn.  He is a scammer, I contacted Novartis and gave them all the information I had.
