4-17-12 tue. update/repley to me and others! I got two Different Phone Numbers they will ask us to call them back at. It is the Same Recorded Message either by a Male or Female. A male voice recording for this call, asking us to call JC Christianson-sen at #866-836-7031 this is a Debt Collector. another number they will ask us to call is # 866-836-7831 They must be calling all around the USA with the same messages, since they never give/leave a name of the Person they are Calling For!  Scam? trying to get personal info.

4-2-12 Monday, had several new type debt calls in 2012, calls from a male caller and now getting calls from female caller, the same type of message: this is J C Christianson and associates a debt collector-call # 866-836-7831. they never ask for the name who they are calling for. since we had all kinds of calls since 2009 some numbers are unknown or out of area calls. callers will give a number and a lot of the time the call is not coming from the number they leave on the answering machine. in the past we had calls with the same messages and persons leave a different number or none at all. so this time I *69 to see if it matches with the phone number person/recordings leave most of the time.  I * 69 and got this number # 320-534-4345 a landline phone. Debt or Scam Call?

JC Christensn & Associates - a debt collector. Called about overdue debt - when I explained that I lost my job, they chastised me for choosing to spend what little I have to care for my children, rather than pay their debt off. I offered $20-30 monthly, as that is what I can afford, and they refused payment. I ended up going off on them and telling them to never ever call again.

yes they can collect many years later.  Debt collectors buy your debts from businesses normally  for about half of the debt!

Very rude and they tell me everyday that they will take my number off and never do.  They are looking for people that do not live here and we have had this number for over a year.

I keep on getting calls from these people, I never answer and they never leave a meassage! They keep on calling me and I'm getting freaked out!

This place calls me all day every 20 min. I wish someone could help me stop this caller

called my cell phone, no message, I called back and they said their records said my cellphone # was somehow a lady I have never heard of.  When I explained that they said something to the effect that they would update their records?  Doesn't update suggest they had it right at SOMEtime!? They were curt and coy about who they are.

Gwen called and left a message trying to sound familiar and friend. Collection agency.

No! 6 years is the legal limit on debt collection.

Funny. They were trying to collect for a small debt from over 10 years ago. A company that went out of business. Can they do that?

When I called back to tell them to get my number out of their system they couldn't even find my number and then said they couldn't help me. So irritating

Rcvd call at 8:10AM, 5/20/09.   I answered and just stayed quiet to see what they would say.  After a few seconds, I male voice said "Hi, Max?"  When I didn't anser he said "Max".  After about 45 seconds he hung up.  I have found this is a good way to deal with these callers that call endlessly.  Eventually they get the idea and then don't call anymore.  Just my way of weeding these companies out.

As far as I traced before, this is a collection agency, JC Christensen & Associates. They are "offering" to settle a 5 plus year old debt for merely 50% more than the max limit that was ever on the store card.
They call 2 or 3 times a day, but only leave one message, usually.

Leave about one message for every three or four calls. Do not identify who they are, really.

Calls regularly but no message.

This place calls me every 5 minutes. So annoying...I do not owe anyone anything!!!

I received a call from this number at 1200 PHX time today.  I did not answer, and a voicemail was left.  The voicemail was from JC Christensen & Associates, and their number is 866 245 5344.  To the best of my knowledge, JC Christensen is a collection agency.

I got a call from this number at 0815 PHX time today.  A recording came on, and I hung up.  I don't know who the call is from.
