Got a call today. No message was left. Caller ID showed Array Services.

The medical facilities use JCC as their collection agency. So, even if it was 25 bucks that you owed a clinic and didnt pay it for whatever reason, (maybe you didn't know about it, fine.) The point is, after 6 months of non pay to a medical facility, they will forward to collection. They have so much billing coming thru daily that they cannot hold onto older billing that hasn't had any type of payment.

I get these calls often but they say thank you and hang up and someone said Hello?

They are actually J.C, Christensen & A**.  A collection agency and not 'Array Services' as they show on the caller I.D.  Tell them you are not who they are looking for and you don't know where they can find whoever and to stop calling you.  By law they must stop calling.

Can you stop a Debt Collector from contacting you?
Yes, but only if you write them a letter telling them to stop contacting you. Be sure to keep a copy of the letter. Once the Collector receives your letter, they may not contact you about the Debt again, except to tell you that the Collector or the Creditor will take a specific action to resolve the Debt. (For example the Creditor may decide to sue you to recover the Debt.) . (15 U.S.C. § 1692c; and § 1692i)

IF THIS IS A DEBT COLLECTOR THEY HAVE A WRONG NUMBER. THEY CAN CALL ALL THEY WANT BUT I JUST PUSH THE IGNORE BUTTON. IF THEY ARE TELEMARKETERS, THEY ARE WASTING THEIR TIME. I REALLY DON'T CARE WHO THEY ARE BUT THEY ARE ANNOYING, IGNORANT, AND STUPID. I FEEL BAD FOR SOMEONE THAT LIVES IN THAT AREA CODE THAT MIGHT ACTUALLY THINK IT IS SOMEONE THEY KNOW.
THE MESSAGE I HEAR IS A SERIES OF NUMBERS.

I agree. Times are tough. With everyone out there trying to capitalize on the misfortune that befalls others its no wonder things just keep getting worse. Payday loans, collection agencies, lawyers, even creditors that you've kept current on payments for years...they are ready to assess a late fee the first time you are a few days late, just adding to the problem, and making it impossible to buy that loaf of bread and some peanut butter to try and stretch to the next paycheck!

People not in a similar tight spot should think before they make an insulting or desparaging  statement.

I agree! Times are tough, and we are victims of circumstances. We are trying! Some of these people are just ruthless!

This call is from a company Array Services. They are a medical bill collector.

This is also JC Christensen and Associates, a Debt Recovery Company with branches all over the US. This number comes from California, I think.

This is J.C. Christensen and Associates, a collection agency in Minnesota. They represent  a variety of Chase accounts including Circuit City, also Sprint, and others. In essence, they do regular debt collection, but BEWARE! These folks have a division that exclusively tends to "Cold Case Debt", which is debt that is more than 3 years old and often as old as 10 years. Though in most states the statute of limitation for old debt is 3 years, if they can make contact with you by you acknowledging their calls they can actually restart the debt collection "clock", revive the debt and harass you into settling it.

My suggestion is, unless you have fresh or even old debt that you wish to settle with them, ignore their calls. If they persist, change your number. Most carriers will do it for free or a nominal fee.
They also have other numbers that they call from. BEWARE OF 320 AREA CODE.

Duh...when people have hard times and rich companies are calling to suck our last dime.  I understand that that someone may owe a billionaire some money but do they ever understand that freak things happen to poor people who are doing everything they can do to raise there kids in this hard world...the answer is no!! they don't!!... They could care less if people are having tough times just providing a home for there kids when while there doing everything there are supposed to be doing in life for things to work, but there just not., because were not billionaires.  If you dont understand that then I hope your before it's to late. Those billionaires should just be happy with a million start working to help people instead of calling people and asking for more, of there money back or just give people some more time or anything  I am not the fixer but there is a different way for things to work and this way is not working. To some this up I am surprised at the greed and arrogance and stupidity of people everyday and the lack of compassion

This number has called me 13 times over the last 4 days, they suck.

I just activated a new sprint cell phone two days ago and my first incoming call were these people, stating "There is an urgent message on my desk asking you to call me as soon ASAP."
When I called back, a recording asked for my account number, and if I didn't have an account number to just stay on the line. I hung up.

For over SIX months I've been getting a phone call at least THREE times a day from 320/534-439 Monday - Saturday. St Cloud, MN number. The message is always the same: "We have an important message from JC Christensen & ASSociates. This is a call from a debt collector. Please call 866/319-8619". This message is repeated until my answering machine disconnects. When it first started happening, I called back a couple times trying to figure out who was supposed to be being called. I was asked for my name and social security number. Uh, no. This is the phone number you called, you tell me who YOU are calling. I know you have your rules, but I have my own when it comes to giving out my personal information. SO I just started letting the answering machine pick up each time, lauging at the phone charges this company was incurring by calling me at least 18 times a week. Not until just last week was the message changed and the person who they are calling for named. So I call back and talk to Carson and told him I was not this person, did not know this person, and only moved to this state 6 months ago. Please take me off the list. Will have to wait to see if it happens

Not everybody is trying to get away from bad debt. Not everybody has bad debt. And if this company would insert the name of the person they are calling for, the bad numbers would be weeded out a hecka lot sooner and harrass a hecka lot less people that do not deserve to be harrassed.

I've been called by them a number of times in the past 4 weeks.  The few times I've answered nothing was said, they've left blank messages too.  Annoying!

This company called my phone several times over the period of a couple of weeks. When I picked up, the messages said a file had come across someone's desk and there was an urgent need to speak to...someone. The message never stated who the call was for. The message stated a toll-free number, but given too fast to write it down. This is a company called Array Services out of Minnesota. The woman I spoke to said she would put the number on the bad number list immediately (the call was for a person whom I've received dozens of calls for recently).

Yep, this is a collection agency. They say they were trying to reach a Gina Mendelli who apparently had this Trac Fone number before me. They said they are not responsible for acknowledging "No Call" lists because they are a collection agency. When I called them from my home phone (because I only use the Trac Fone for a kidney transplant emergency call), they said they'd take me off their list.

they called for my husband, who prefers to speak in spanish, I said, do you speak spanish and they said one moment i'll transfer you. . . . and they kept me on hold.  I hung up and with in five minutes they called back, this time I didn't bother to answer.
so where can we report these guys . . . give me a number or address or website, I don't mind being a whistle blower.

Because a lot of us don't owe money to anyone and can't figure out why these people are calling our numbers.

They can't be all that good at collecting because today I've missed two calls from them.... because it only rings for a second.  I would need spidey-senses and ninja reflexes to answer these calls.  I've never gotten calls from this number before, and the only new thing I've done is join some new job search websites...

They call me almost everyday and they ask for Jose something or other.
I've told them that's not me, and I don't know anyone with that name, but I keep getting calls.
If I owed someone money I wouldn't be surprised to get calls, but I don't owe them n u t h i n ' .

all of these are collection agencies... if you owe ppl money, why are any of you surprised that you are getting mysterious calls???

320-534-4394 called and said: "This is not a sales call. Please hold on for an important message." Then hung up.

GOT A CALL ON MY CELL PHONE FROM THIS NUMBER WHILE I WAS AT WORK.  COULDN'T ANSWER OF COURSE.  VOICEMAIL WAS THE CLICK OF THEIR HANG UP W/ NO MESSAGE.  HOW PROFESSIONAL (SARCASM INTENDED)

The calls from 320-534-4394 started on the day I received my new cell phone, approximately 1 month ago. Since then 320-534-4394 has phoned 2-3xday, never leaves a message. Calls occur morning, noon, and night. If this is a collection agency, they need to be stopped - my credit is great and getting these calls at work is super-annoying.
