They call multiple times per day, as late as 9 pm. They leave no message.

@Johnjcbs - YES, legitimate charities do call for donations.  However, if it's a legimate charity, their name usually comes up.  With this caller, it could be a company who solicits donations through a separate company for American vets since there is a name attached to the phone number.

2/23/12  4:50pm  Rang three times and they hung up just before my answering machine picked up.  They know what they are doing - I love my caller ID.  Hope they find another number to call.  Caller ID showed:  Broadvox LLC which is unknown and I do not answer unknown.

Call came through as Broadvox LLC, it is the American Vets out of Pine City, MN, from a landline phone.
The message comes on,( if you answer), this is the American Vets, all our assistants are busy right now,
please wait for the next assistant, then you get an actual voice on line.

I have caller id blocked this charity for about 2 years from every number they call because they won't take my number off their list.  I actually think they just call every number in the Minneapolis/St Paul phone book.  
The only way to get rid of each and every NEW NUMBER they call from is to go to DO NOT CALL REGISTRY online, register if you haven't, and then complete a special request for this solicitor & number not to call you ever again-this process takes about 2 minutes.  I do it with each unsolicited number I receive.

Caller said they are American Vets, rather than the Disabled American Vets.   It's a scam call.

Please quit calling.

I told them no and they continue to call me literally everyday. I'm reporting them to the BBB, Police Department and the MN STate Attorneys Office. This is just harrassment. I tell them to take me off their call list and that I'm not interested. I've also contacted the National AmVet office.

Then why don't they post their name.  It says unknown on our phones.  That usually means telemarketer.
