Tex from 032016@vtext.com to call 416 8484 4194  Debit card problem.  Called and they wanted card number Replied with tex..    " You got to be s****ing me."   Called my bank.  They confirmed its a scam.  

Jeff I doubt you are dumb by any means! However my Grandmother who is a very smart woman was pulled into a scam similar to this. She was new to the use of cell phones and especially texting, and assumed she was truly getting an alert from her bank! When referring to elderly I was speaking of ppl in their late 70's and up. Often those individuals just like very young ppl with their first cell or bank account don't realize this is a widely used scam to steal money from ppl! They just simply have not had enough experience with either cell phones or financial institutions to know that no one who is legit would ever text you and ask for your account info. My son didn't know, he is 23! But fairly new to banking, and luckily he called me to ask me why his card was being cancelled! So I was able to alert him to give no info! We have Verizon so all of us on our family plan have gotten several of these deceitful texts!

same here, i was hacked prior to this on my debit card without giving them any info whatsoever.

had my debit card hacked, received texts from v text.com with various numbers to call back and to smi-one.

numbers to call back werw (321) 207 9559, (407) 209 3276, and (800) 997 0065.

reported all to verizon with the 7726 feature, contacted my bank and will have two fraudelent charges credited that occurred in san antonio, tx, and am filing a police report tomorrow.

i did call these numbers back, most were busy, the 321 number said i had a problem with my account number and to hit one to enter more info and i hung up on it and then called my bank and discovered to the two fraudlent charges.

these people are jerks, wish our government could throw many in jail.

Souncds like a scam using the Verizon network

Received a txt message from the listed number. When I phoned it the automated service stated that my debit card transaction had been limited and wanted financial information to rectify the problem.

Receive call from this number this afternoon which was [smiONE: call 1-321-207-9559]. Another scam sucking up my minutes.

Hubby and I both received a txt from 94675@vtext.com (Achieve: Please call 321-207-9559 Acct Issue).......Not....This is fraud....What's the point in enrolling in the National Do Not Call List? hmnnn?

Also just received the same message as Fred and several others above.  I ignored because I know we have no problems with any accounts.  I will report to Verizon.  It upsets me because of people that do not realize about these scams and as Ron said, someone will fall for it.  I looked up # on line and it took me to these messages. Thanks to all for the info.

Have received several texts from (smiONE) to call 1.321.207.9559.  Msg says it is an account issue.  call apparently from 487956@vtext.com.  would like to get these stopped. i think i will call Verizon.

THIS is a scam they want your last 4 of your SSN and your debit card number to reactivate your debit card. I was bored so I called it 27 times and put in 1111 and followed by 1111111111111111     I wonder if we all do it how large their data base is maybe we can crash it...lol have fun with these scammers. Unfortunately some one will fall for it or they wouldn't keep doing it.

These text messages are being sent via Verizon online text message.  They are utilizing several different "Call back" numbers.  If you are a Verizon customer, please do as suggested by Williams, above, and forward the text to 7726, which is Verizon's security department.  You can also go into MyVerizon & block all text messages coming from the web, which I'm hoping will take care of this problem.  I have deleted all messages I've received (6 total, in 5 days), but should I get another one, I will be reporting to the FBI. I hope all of you will do the same!

I texted them back after I made a phone call with them asking for my social security number. I said try again next time with somebody stupid jack***.

Both my husband and I received text messages from 20935867@vtext.com requesting to call 321-207-9559.  Didn't call it, googled the number first to find all this helpful information.  Thanks for posting!

Please have this agency remove my number from their calling list. I am on the 'do not call' registry and do not appreciate these unwanted calls.

Have no idea who these people are. They call at least once a week.

So I called the number & got a recording about my debit card being frozen or limited -- anyway some type of bull crap -- & for me to reactivate my debit card to enter the last four digits of my SSN. Well I hung up & did not proceed any further! This is no doubt a SCAM to get my bank info so they can get to my cash! I went to the FBI website but I could not find anywhere to report it! Received message back from Verizon saying to respond with sender's number. I sent them a list of 4 numbers and got a message back saying, "We could not identify the sender of that message with the supplied information. Please call *611 for additional help.

Just received text message from 29308465@vtext.com with no message, just this phone number.
