I Got same one as above from "Raymond" via email.  He also provided me with a freight service company with an email to contact (in his second email to me) for a pricing quote - & then I was to contact "Ray" back after getting quote from this shipping company, with the pricing so he could "pay" me. Also- I noticed that the name from his email said "Jason Gilbert", yet he said his name was Ray.   He said he hs company "New Tech Ventures" was in South Africa.

I am located in North America, New York area. I am curious to where other people posting on here are located- if it is happening only is USA or other countries as well.  Below is the first email I got.

Yep,,, Credit Card Fraud is Rampid.. It takes 30 days for someone to get their bill.. By then, you have shipped and the product is gone...,, and the CC company gets stiffed.. I am not sure who ends up getting shafted in the long run,, but,, this could be easily taken care of, if the CC companies prosecuted things like this.. It is not hard to catch them... They just don't want to...
And local law enforcement does not want to get involved, since it usually crosses state lines...

So,,, if you read this,, and get to talk with your Senator or Representative,, tell them,,, there is no reason why this sort of thing can't be cracked down on... Billions of fraud every year, and NO ONE,, is trying to crack down on it.. 5 Charges this year to Macy's at over $2k each.. One Swipe Transaction in New York City at 3am (Stores Closed),, and another 3 Minutes later in California (Swipe Transaction) (Means they were in New York and 3 minutes later in California)...
Don't tell me a computer could not have stopped this,, with not a single human for the intervention..
Stores Closed at 3am (No way a card could have been swiped),, and 3 minutes later, the same card swiped on the other side of the Country... Come on.. Crack down on theft at the Computer level.. This would be easy to build this error checking into the system..
Oh,,, did I mention,, that the card they were using was Expired???? and,, that I had already received my new card,, and had called the number confirming receipt of the new card,, and that I would cut up the old card on receipt of the new one????
I can tell you this.. It is not the CREDIT Card companies getting screwed here,, or they would already have spent a couple of hours to write error checking into the Computer code to stop this..
