Received 2 calls from  321-250-3469 this morning at about 8:50 and 9:00 am est.  First call had no one on line.  second call was a woman with a heavy Spanish accent.  There was also a great deal of background noise that sounded like an airport.  

Also, received a call from this number last week and they said I had won a free trip to Disney World but I would have to verify some information first.  When I asked the name of the company and if they were affiliated with Disney World, the young man hung up.

With each call, I have tried to call back --- each time I am told the "call cannot go through at this time, try again later."

Obviously this is fradulent and I am going to report  it to "Do Not Call"

99% of the calls to my land line are from scammers.

Called @ 12:24 P.M. CT on February 24, 2014 and hung up after 3 1/2 ring after realizing I wouldn't pick up.

321-250-3469 called my home phone 2:50 PM, Feb. 24, 2014.

Rang through even though I have a "no solicitors" feature on my land line which requires callers to punch "1" ... it said "unknown caller" on the caller ID, but when I picked up I got a dial tone.

I want to know if the number 321-250-3469 is legit. They said they were from USA Vacation Station. I listened to their speil but did not buy into it until I check it out. Can anyone tell me?

These people call whether you're on the Do Not Call list or not. Doesn't that suggest something about business ethics? They're identity thieves and credit card scammers. Their recorded message is exactly the same as it was in February, 2013, right down to the three digit "claim number".

I received a call from this number, answered on the third ring and they hung up.  I tried to return the call, and it rang more than 20 times and no one answered.

Called @ 4:20 on 02/21/14, was a recorded message for disney vacation.

Even though my Call Blocker stopped this call (www.digitione.com) I still want to SCREW these people as much as I can.  Wondering why the Do Not Call isn't working?  It's not working because our great government has GIVEN UP trying to stop these A55H0LE5. Don't despair however because, actually, there IS something that you can do and it is FREE.

A new web site, www.nomorobo.com just came online.  This web site was built by some guys who hate telemarketers as much as anyone.  Here is how their web site works.

They maintain a list of numbers used by telemarketers.  After you join their web site, again, for FREE, you then have the right to report telemarketer's numbers and they will be added to the NoMoRobo list of banned numbers.

How do you use NoMoRobo to stop robocalls from coming in to your phone?  Well, you must have a feature on your telephone services from your phone company that allows you to ring more than 1 number when a call comes into your primary number.  Verizon calls this service SIMULTANEOUS RING.  Most people set it up so that when a call comes into their home number, their cell phone rings at the same time and the call may be answered on either phone.  What you must do is to set up your phone service so that it also calls NoMoRobo's number.  Once you do this, here is what happens.

A call comes into your phone (123) 456-7890 for example.  It also rings NoMoRobo's number.  NoMoRobo's computer answers the phone before your phone even rings.  If the incoming call is from a number who's ANI (Automatic Number Identification data - also known as Caller ID) is UNAVAILABLE and if their phone number is UNAVAILABLE, then NoMoRobo puts and off-hook condition on the line (i.e. it picks up the call) and then immediately puts an on-hook condition on the line (i.e. it INSTANTLY hangs up on the line) and that is that.  You phone does not ring.  The robocall computer doesn't know what happened and who cares.  Because if they call back, they will experience the same result.  But what if a call comes into your phone and the number is (123) 678-9034 and the ANI data says something like "Service Company".  That might seem legit.  NoMoRobo has already checked its database and (123) 678-9034 is not listed as a robocaller so NoMoRobo already forwarded the call to your number.  You answer and discover that it is a telemarketer.  

You hang up immediately, then you log onto your computer and go to www.nomorobo.com and sign into your account and report then number.  Just like that, any call coming in to NoMoRobo from (123) 678-9034 will be intercepted as a robocall for not just YOU but for EVERYONE who registers with NoMoRobo!  You have done a public service and, more importantly, SCREWED a telemarketer!

Called my aunt today, addressed her by last name and told her that her computer was at risk.  When my aunt informed the caller that her PC has been in the shop (my house) for the past 3 weeks, he hung up.

I have found I get calls regardless, so I hit whatever number to talk to someone and unleash the most vile, vulgar phrase you can imagine - truly very disgusting, waaaaaaay beyond sailor talk.  I believe it turns their stomach and is effective for lowering incoming call volume.  (I can only do this when the rest of the family is out, though.)
