I just got a call five minutes ago from an unknown caller.
His name is Jack Harbor, saying that he is from National Grand Center.
He said we have won one of these 3 prizes,
1. round trip air ticket within the US
2. 3 days 2night hotel
He left a telephone number: (716) 216-3366
He claims I filled out a registration card in a mall between January and April 2013 and that's how they had my name, address and phone number. They also said I marked I made over $50K a year, was married and between the age of 30 and 72. The last two parts are false however.
He asked to confirm the last three bits of information, though I would not. He said he wanted to have his supervisor call me back to then give me the confirmation coupon number which I would then use to redeem my gift. I told him I didn't want anyone calling me so he offered to give me the above phone number so I could call them.
After hanging up I quickly Googled "National Grand Center Phone Call" and found this website with many other people having the same experience between the years of 2007 and 2010. I guess they're still at it though in 2013.

Calls from two numbers on 8/28/2013 approximately 4:00 PM PDT:
716 332-6622;
716 242-3138
Phishing call perhaps from "National Grand Center" offering a travel award similar to the June 16, 2010 post above.
Vague inaccurate information about me and my "spouse," heavily accented (possibly East Indian) initial caller who passed me off to his "Senior Manager" with a very similar accent.
I refused his offer to go to Del Mar, CA to receive my travel prize. When questioned why I told him I thought it sounded like a scam; Clue - prize was for a trip Within the Continental US, then he offered a location NOT in the Continental US as an option. The Senior Manager got annoyed and abruptly hung up. Both calls were from the NY area; first caller stated the main office is in Buffalo, NY.
Too Phishy for me to believe.

Just got the call from 6478741544 and gave me same story. When I search for 690 Rowntree Dairy Rd, I come to this website. This time the person speaks very good english and get frustration of me who speak ok english and with hearing loss. I kept asking her to repeat the content as I am confused why I could choose the date to pickup the price and when I got into the draw.

Newest updates to the scam. They changed their name now to SuiteLife to the address of 609 Rowntree Dairy ROad Suite 201. Same tactics of claiming prize during the presentation. Apparently this address is being registered to different vacation business as well as technology and financial management company. JUst google it and lots pop up for information. Hope everyone keep updating their newest tactics so nobody will ever fall into these scammers!

I have been getting these calls for 3 years. I know which store in the Bramalea City Centre Mall that sold my info (it's no longer there) The company name & address changes every 6-8 months but the SCAM is the same. I just got another call from "National Grand Centre" on behalf of an airline company.
*
I have tried hanging up, listening to the whole spiel and getting a confirmation #, asking them to remove my name - nothing works.
*
Now, everytime they call I tell them "You are calling on my business phone. This call is being recorded by my boss so I can't talk to you now. Can you call my on my personal phone?" They always say yes and take down the number I give them. I give them the phone number to my local police department.

I just got a call from the National Grand Center. Saying I had won prizes, trip to any where in the US, sponsored by American Airlines and Mariott and $1000 in cash to spend. Thank you for your post. What is the point, they already have my name and phone number
| trustnoone 2010-09-21 22:25:51 Unknown |
Well, you can keep patronizing this company then. I had the same horrible call to deal with for 15 minutes while trying to get rid of the heavy accented, incomprehensible rep who called himself Robert Miller. Number they gave to call back was 716-406-4415 although the call came through as Unknown Number. The rep quoted company names such as Canadian XXXXXX Solutions and National Grand (or Grant) Centre. Naturally, I won't be answering any more calls from them.

i just got a call five minutes ago.
His name is Daniel Augestine, saying that he is from National Grand Center.
He said we have won one of these 3 prizes,
1. round trip air ticket within the US
2. 3days2night hotel
3. a $300 dinner certificate
The address he gave was
River Pointe Center
500 Lincoln Ave,
Napa, CA 94558
He left a telephone number: (281) 738-1156 Ext: 786
He said once i get there, go to the reception and find Ms. Linda.
He seems to have lots of our information.
I was so stupid that I gave him our names. However we moved out from the address one year ago and i am glad that i didn't tell him.
When i asked him when we filled out the form he couldn't tell. I think this is truly a scam based on the fact that he was using our old address. He must have got it some other places.
Please don't trust them

Yeah man, same thing just happened to me.
Except it was 'Canadian Value Solutions'. The guy was very worried when I started to decline the prize and kept rolling over about it in conversation. I looked up the number, and another person on a website similar to this pointed out that some fellow from 213-709-6918 claiming to be calling from the 'National Grant Center' contacted him.
Yeah. Smells like garbage. Looks like garbage.
They have a website too. www.canadianvaluesolutions.com - And the funniest thing about it, is there is a second 'ghost' site with the same name, but a part of the .net domain. It's ridiculous. It's like they didn't tear it down quick enough.
I bloody hate scammers.

We got a call from an alleged Robert Ford (with a strange, thick accent) just now, gave us the address of their Gifting Center here in Tucson (which happens to be Southwest Travel Club, 4811 E. Grant Rd, Suite # 261, Tucson AZ). I was actually reading this entire page online, knowing all the while that they were scammers, while this Robert guy with a dodgy accent (which did not help trying to decipher what he was saying) was describing our supposed winnings. Apparently, we won 2 adult round trip airfares to anywhere in the US, a Millennium travel (whatever that means, I couldn't understand due to his accent), $150.00 gift certificate for our vehicle and a $30.00 food and beverage gift certificate. He claimed he was the manager of the National Grand Center, then transferred me to some other guy called Sean Reid. Hubby hung up on them the first time. They have tried calling at least 3 times since and have not left any messages. Now, if our winnings were that important to them to keep harassing us about, then they would have left a message. We will not bother going to the address they gave. Plus their phone number came up as "Unknown Unknown" on caller ID. The third time they called, I told them I would call the cops if they continued their harassment. They stopped calling. Bluddy crooks.

That's exactly what my husband did. We got a call from them just now, gave us the address of their Gifting Center here in Tucson (which happens to be Southwest Travel Club, 4811 E. 2010 02 19 I had that same call with the same details except Woodbridge had become Vaughan and Kevlin insisted I be accompanied by a woman and unless I appeared at the time specified by them, Kevin or Kevlin wouldn't see me. "That ain't gonna happen", Kevlin retorted. I threatened them with a visit from the OPP CIB and hung up.
It was too bad as I was starting to enjoy the innocent banter, so I made some coffee.

Got a call today from these scammers, claiming to be called'national grand centre', or grant center, couldn't really make out what the guy was saying, as his accent was very thick Indian accent. said his name was David, and was very pushy. I refused to give him any info, and asked for a call back number, as i wanted to look this up... gave the number, 716-406-4415, said they were located in buffalo, ny. it's clearly a scam, as the number that showed up on my caller id was 213-709-6918, which when googled, is a number located in los angeles, CA! Oh, and the best part was that he said they have a location in woodbridge, on, where we can go to pick up our'prize'. oh please, i wasn't born yesterday. spread this around, to help others from falling for their crap.

BINGO!!! Don't know about the phone number but the address matches some of these other close encounters. Just had a 1/2 hour conversation with one of these guys that promised me one of five lovely prizes....sound familiar? Think I'll skip the meeting though after reading about them. Thanks for the 411.
