Had the same experience with GMAC Timeshare Division.. Not really assocciated with GMAC. signed a contract a long time ago and they did nothing for me!! June of 2012 signed a contract with Access Travel Network. ( did not this was one of the companies put together by SCAM artist Mr. Henry Cordts) to rent my timeshare weeks. I was told that they would rent my extra RCI weeks I was entitled to! Great sales pitch but it is all a SCAM. They took my money and have done nothing for me!! RCI is aware this is going on with many Timeshare Rental Co. It is a total rip off!! Now I wish I had contacted RCI First..
Access Travel Network @ 888-751-5547 rarely answers so the call goes to voice mail which is always full. If they answer they put you on HOLD and never come back. Have received calls from 4 other Timeshare Co. with the same bogus sales pitch. I guess my Info. on 'the net' is "flagged" SUCKER!!!

Called alleging to be from GMAC and RCI, telling me that I had not deposited my week with RCI yet, and due to forclosures, I needed to protect myself and deposit my timeshare and schedule my week. I told her we had already deposited our week, and we have 2 years to schedule where and when we want to take it, and that I wasn't going to be bullied into anything. I questioned how GMAC (General Motors Acceptance Corporation--for loans) was involved in this at all. She got very belligerent, and I said, "This conversation is over," and I hung up.

Left a message to call 1-800 number about timeshare. Already taken buying the timeshare. Not about to compound the mistake by even listening to these shysters

Thanks for your info. I received the same call, but this time they were going to give me $3200.00/week for my banked time share points.
How do they know what my time share balance is?
How did they know that I even owned a time share?
Is that information in the public domain?

I paid GMAC Timeshare Division $1000.00 to Henry Cordts. I never got a returned phone call. At www.BBB.org : GMAC Timeshare Division has the worst possible rating an "F". They will never provide any proof that they have ever rented or sold a single property. GMAC Timeshare Division cannot n provide you even 2 or 3 clients that have had a good experience with GMAC. They are a scam and the only way to get your money back is to start a class action lawsuit and call your credit card company and dispute the charge and then take them to litigation. DO NOT PAY GMAC any money, THEY ARE A SCAM.

Spoke with caller "this time". He wanted to buy or rent my time share points. I bated him a little and he said he wanted $899.00 to rent my points. I laughed and told him to put me on his do not call list. He said, "I'm not going to do that" and hung up.
