this number has called and called my wife by name saying that they were from an insurance company and that they needed to verify information...tried to call it back and it said the mail box was full.

I've recieved calls from this number several times; nothing is said just a hang-up. I'm beginning to wonder is this some kind of ID theft scheme!

My husband took the call while I was out walking.  The woman insinuated she had spoken to me and I was getting dental and vision insurance through their company and all that was needed now was to get my checking acct. number so the $29 could be deducted each month (plus a one time $25 fee.)  My gullible husband gave her the checking acct. #!  I was furious when I got home and found out what had happened- tried to call and all I get is a voice mail for a box number.  I have no expectations anyone will call me back, but I threatened to sue if anything is deducted from my acct.  I can't even get the bank to stop the authorization because my husband didn't get any information at all- like the name of the company!!! I am livid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This number called my house today and said they needed additional information for my dental and eye care insurance.  When I said that I'm with Blue Shield, they said they're working with Blue Shield on my supplemental insurance.  When I said that I don't have those benefits, are they trying to sell me additional insurance they hung up.

I just received this call an hour ago and a women asked to speak with my husband, including his first and last name and i said he was not home, may I take a message, and she replied with a snideness, no that's ok. I called the number back and the mailbox was full. Sneaky, sneaky!

i recieced a call on 11/05/07 saying i've been approved for health insurence. Come to find out it not a really company and i did give them my info for my checking acct. so my advice would be call the police our do not give out your info to them you want even be able to call that number back 321/283/2745 a joke

on 11/9 i got a call from this number but do not know who they are some of the numbers that have been calling even ask for me. wish i could find away to keep these numbers from calling me.

What I think is a Joke is that some of you IDIOTS actually gave your banking info to these scammers. How stupid are you? You deserve to be scammed if you do that. These people called me and asked for me specificly. They said I filled out an application in September and said I was approved for dental/vision/hearing insurance. I told them sorry but I did no such thing, I already have that type of insurance. The woman paused and said well this insurance will help you save more money. I told her to go F%^$ herself and she hung up. Thats how you handle it. Dont let these people take your hard earned money, WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least you guys talked to people, i've been getting a phone call everyday for the past two weeks and every time i pick up they hang up...if i call back all it says this mailbox is full

I don't usually answer unknown calls but I did this morning.The didn't say nothing just hung up. I a FL #. They need to stop for somebody be in trouble. I don't have time to play games on the phone.

I received a call that said they were from my insurance for medicare supplemental coverage. They called me by my first name. They said my cards would come in the mail in 7 to 10 days and I could start using them as soon as they came. I don't go on medicare until next February so I called my agent and ask what it was about. He said I cad been scamed.

Claimed to be from Aetna.  Said (husband's first name) submited a request in Sept. cards are being mailed and coverage starts today.  Asked if this was from his employer, said had nothing to do with his medical. told her he gets everything through his employer, she asked if he had dental and vision through his employer, and I asked her what that had to do with anything and line just went quiet and eventually dial tone came on.
We also have our cable and internet through Comcast.

As soon as I said, "Hello" they hung up.

This call just came in on my cell. I'm at work and can't answer my cell. No message. They are still on the prowl I guess.

same thing, the number called did not leave a message and when i tried to call them i got the 'this mailbox is full' message. thanks for all the above info. i will be on the alert with this number.

There has to be someone who can help us....We have a phone service through our cable company I am going to call someone there to see if they can help since it looks like our police can't help us....

A female asks for Edwin Gardner.  When I told her he wasn't available aND ASKED IF i COULD HELP HER SHE HUNG UP.

same deal here..they call everyday..only 2 times has the lady talked to me. im finding alot of the people that are getting these numbers are comcast subscribers. i get my cable, net,and phone from them. i wonder if that has something to do with how they are getting our info? anyways since i knew who or what i was looking for when the call came i pretty much assured she will never call here again. as juvenile as it sounds i started to bait her by calling her names..when she stared to curse back at me i asked her if it was company policy to use foul language towards potential "customers" and she started to studder step her words and strated to laugh at her and tell her i knew she was a fraud. then she hung up. there has to be somethig we can do. i live n florida not too far from sanford but i dont have the money to fork out over the address. and its probably a re-routed call from somewhere else that shows up as a sanford addy. these crooks are slick..i just want to know how it is thy have a nymber that goes straight to voicemail...thats too full?

Simailar to other posts I told them I have no interest then the girl asked why I sent in a application. I said I did not and asked that they stop calling me the girl then suggested that I should check into ID fraud because she has all my information. I could not stop laughing I am so sure that someone would steal my ID in order to send in false requests for insurance.

Called me twice, woke me up. I just hit the answer button and laid the phone down after the second call. The female on the other end called me by name and got rather loud when I didn't respond. I'm on the do not call list and everyone calls me on my cell phone anyway, including doctors etc. Its definately a Florida residential phone. Sounds like scammers to me. Maybe we could report them as terrorists trying to raise money. That seems to get the governments attention.

This number called at 9:01 on 10-25-07.  As we had moved from Florida to another state over a year ago my wife recognized the 321 area code but not the number on the caller ID and picked it up.  A lady asked for me by name.
When my wife told her I was out and asked if she would leave a message, the women said "No message" and abruptly hung up.  I looked the number up on the internet and found it to be a land line from Sanford, Florida (near Orlando)
but to "Reverse Number" and find out who it was would cost $15.00.

Luckily, I ran across 800notes and found this number has been getting around.
My wife is happy that some secretive woman in Florida is not trying to contact me but is obviously looking for someone to scam. It seems to me that with all of the technology we have today that either the phone company who is paid by this crook or the long arm of the law is either powerless or
unwilling to smack these people down.  Oh, I know... a crime hasn't really been committed.  While the authorities are "Busy" backtracking the folks who have already been ripped off, this "Trolling for Victims" goes unabated.

I thought we had a law for just about any and everything, might need 1 more.

I've received calls from this number a bunch of times ...321-283-2745
its usually a lady on the other end...my phone connection is from my cable company . I wonder if somehow their listings or something have been broken into...My number is a private listing and my cats name is oin my cable bill...talk about funny...asking for my cat to come to the phone.. lol I usually say whoever hey ask for is not home then try to call the number back and get the same full mail box message. I did a reverse lookup on the number and it says its residential in fla.

This number...321 283 2745 is another that calls our home every now and then.

Can we do something about this?  I mean, we all will have our own versions of how these people talk to us and try to scam us.  I think we'd need to find a way to track them down and let them get what they deserve.  They could probably be scamming some old folks by now, especially knowing that these folks are so much vulnerable to being scammed on getting medical and dental coverage.  Can we find a law firm who'd actually try to trace this and place charges, i don't know, but there's got to be something out there that can be done.
