Same as above. Texted from (321) 345-7059 trying to buy an item for his cousin.

Same story as above. They tried to offer more for the item on CL and then claimed it had to be shipped to Africa. Told them no way I can ship it to him overnight for free in the US and he could save the extra money and ship it himself and he continued to make excuses. Total scam.

Contacted my husband about a truck we were selling saying they were from California and wanting a truck for his parents. Also called from a New York number. He said that he wanted our bank account number so he could deposit the money once they get the details. I immidiately said it was a scam. No one buys a vehicle without looking at it, and everyone I know that buys vehicles goes to the vehicle first.

Confirming that this is a total scam. Was trying to fish my information and impose overseas shipping. His inquiry about a product I was selling on CL smelled bad to start with but when he requested shipping to Africa my doubts were confirmed.

I too was trying to sell something and the person was trying to do this. Person's email claims to be jonesdavid400@gmail.com ( typical American name) but wanted me to ship Express mail, which takes 2 days to his brother with a definate Indian/ Arab name in Nigeria. Person was texting me info. and very insistant that I hurry up and sent pay pal. I contacted Paypal and they said account not set up for this person but could be, but they have to verify and this could take several business days. They could be paying with stolen card and too many frauds sent to Nigeria. Postal service said I would have no recourse if they claimed item stolen or never made it there and they could get back money from Paypal etc.
I offered to ship to US city at my expense and they could ship to the brother. Oh no... they didn't have time to do that.

This person is a SCAM artist. If you are trying to sale something do not sale it to this person. They will tell you that payment has been made via paypal. But it has not, in fact they send you a FAKE email. DO NOT SHIP THE PRODUCT.
