Keep receiving spam calls about credit card crap twice a day for a month. Damn it! All of these spam callers, go to the hell.
HarryO 2013-06-28 14:52:05 Unknown
What you do if you have the time and inclination and a human is on the other end is play their game but give them all false information. If they want credit card numbers you have to search online for the 'key or formula to create valid credit cards numbers' which tells you how to create valid numbers depending on which card you want to create. The card number you create won't match the phony name you give but they'll try it anyway... and probably get caught.

There are several of these numbers that call daily. When you answer you are prompted to press 1 for a LIVE operator. After a few minutes, someone comes on asking If I wanted to lower my credit card interest today. I replied saying to remove me from this list, I don't even have a credit card. Immediate click on the other end. No business information given or anything. I believe this is some sort of scam. I received a notice some months ago about a class action suit against these kinds of calls, but yet they continue. I reported them to the BBB but what good is it going to do if it is just some of scam. I wonder how many people answer and actually offer up their credit card numbers to them. Then they have everything they need to max it out under their name
Emd 2013-06-26 15:25:44 Unknown
I received the same call as everyone on here. I just want to know if its,a scam?
Good Thinker 2013-06-24 17:19:48 Unknown
What is the real purpose behind this? Are they not trying to get account information from you? The rolling numbers that they call from, tell me the phone companies are not supporting them with this capability. Continual cat and mouse game with people that have done no wrong. Are there no opportunity for them to make a living doing something honestly and constructively? They surely could qualify for politics.

This is Jennifer calling from Consumer Services about your current credit card accounts.
Ginger Spano 2013-06-18 19:41:10 Unknown

Recorded message. Only partially message saying press "9" if you want to be removed. Never press any buttons since it doesn't work. Definitely sure this is a scam and wouldn't be interested anyway.
Frankie 2013-06-05 23:09:48 Unknown
Same old scam here too - stupid message about reduced interest rates. Do not call this kind of caller back because it is Robocall and if you call back they will know they've got a live one. Instead report them to the National Do Not Call registry complaint system.

No, he's from Oregon.

Same scammers have been using this phone number since last fall. Why can't the FTC bust these bozos? They can't be that hard to track down.

Recv'd call from this #. I never pick up #'s i don't kno, cuz if it's important or some1 u kno with a new #, they'll leave a message. Used 2 get calls like this 3-4 times a day , even on weekends, but i just ignore them. Since i don't pick up, these calls have died down alot. my suggestion is just don't pick up at all. Save yerself the headache and they're not worth yer time, even yer 1 second "hello" greeting.

Received a call from this number, said he was from "Card Services" a male this time.

On April 11, 2013 at 1:24pm (Pacific time) I was called by 321-392-0621 and the call seemed to go straight to voicemail. I was right next to my phone and it didn't ring. It could be my carrier is routing this scam number away from ringing? Either way, I'm glad I didn't answer a robo-scam trying to get my money or personal info. None of the people taking part in these operations are guiltless, even the people making the calls and following scripts have to know they are part of a scam when they are as evasive as others describe on this page. Karma has a long memory and a WICKED BITE! The only problem is, most crooks are too ignorant to understand why there is a constant rain of doo-doo falling in their lives... so in answer to hard times, they start yet another scam and begin yet another round of the poop storm, again... and they wonder why life is so tough? Karma... pure Karma...

Showed up on my caller id.
J-Dawn 2013-04-09 19:19:44 Unknown
Called "to reduce rates on my current accounts." I don't have any accounts and my number is on the Do Not Call Registry. Will report to donotcall.gov and FTC.

I got a call from this # at 10:35 a.m. It was from ShopRite about a recall on Farm Rich products.
Disgusted 2013-04-04 17:44:59 Unknown
Same as the one below (they have been using different phone numbers, same messages, almost every day):
"
Called about lowering interest rates on my credit cards. They left the message on my answering machine. The FTC has just sued 4 companies for using this scam to defraud people. Among them was "Rachel" who pitched the exact same message word for word. This was a different womans voice but the wording was the same and she used a different name - can't remember what though. Anyway, these crooks get shut down and then simply reopen again under different names and numbers.
They should make it a mandatory prison sentence for the CEO's of these companies who openly disregard the law. That's the only way to stop this telephone abuse."

What, are you 7 years old or something?
Bubba 2013-03-28 17:44:47 Unknown
I just answer the phone and hang up real fast. It has cut down on my call the last few months. And almost no repeat call from the same number. I think this confuses the auto dialer, as they usually expect a voice answer or voice mail for a good mumber.
I am happier now last few months.
Bubba 2013-03-28 17:38:29 Unknown
I answer and hang up real fast. I think it fools the auto dialer This works better than blocking them.

First, I want to thank you for getting out there and taking affirmative action. Your efforts are worth more than 10,000 White House petitions. This is a point I have made on this site over and over.
But there is another piece to the puzzle, which I have also talked about ad infinitum. You must have a plan. These folks are typically lawyers, but whatever their backgrounds, they can't have expertise on every issue that comes along. They have to rely on interested parties to propose a solution.
If you want legislation, you have to at least develop an outline of what you want. In fact, it would be most effective if you provided a well thought out draft, one which addresses the concerns of your likely opposition. Getting new laws passed is hard work.
