The new number is 510-856-5126. He got rude with me and I got rude back and called my attorney. I would not let him even talk to me about a debt. I have called my attorney. I called him back and tried to give him my attorney's name and he just said people would come to arrest me. I told him don't call me again.

Same situation but the people I talk to, all sound the same (non American accents) but give me different names, such as: Allan Taylor; Officer Robin Johnson, and I'm to make a payment to a Senior Officer, Kevin Peterson. I keep asking questions and they don't answer them. They are just rude and threatening. When my bankruptcy lawyer calls them, they hang up on her. They gave me a web address of www.ic3.gov for internet fraud, on a payday loan over a year ago. They refused to tell me the name of the lawfirm they were with, and they finally gave me: Rosenthal law firm. When it comes up on my phone, it's from New York with a number of 434-480-5572, but their return number is 716-902-2016.

I had a gentlemen named Chris Haggerman call and leave a message saying a claim was transferred to his desk.So I returned the call and spoke with a woman who was very rude and screamed at me. I just hung up. She never did say the name of the company but said she was representing JVC processing. Several weeks ago I had a foriegner call my cell but I could not understand his messages except for the last part sounded like he called me a s**t, but who knows what he said. If they are going to call they need to SPEAK ENGLISH!!!!!!

Within an hour I?ve received 3 calls (2 on my cell phone, one at work) from ?Gary Smith? and ?Steve Samuel? both claiming to be with the back office of ACS. The first guy (both have very very heavy accents) told me that I was being sued and would be arrested for 3 crimes (theft, forgery and one other which I don?t remember). He told me that I needed to appear in court tomorrow morning (no time was given). I knew it was a scam right off and even told him that he wouldn?t get away with scamming me. He laughed and said, ?If you think this is a scam, I feel for you.?  He gave me some bogus address 11701 Cienaga (that?s how he spelled it), South LA, 9045. I ended up hanging up on him when he couldn?t tell me what company he was calling to represent. Minutes later I got another call on my cell phone. This time it went to voicemail (I made sure to keep the message). This call was from Steve Samuel?he told me that I would be arrested and that only God could help me and that he feels sorry for me. He demanded that I call him back at 559-838-0391. This is ridiculous?I won?t tolerate these jerks calling me at work.

This sounds like the same guy that called me. He told me the same thing that only God could help me. I have gotten calls from so many different #'s and each time I get a different name and they all say they are officers coming to arrest me.

I eventually started telling them that she did not work here anymore. They don't call as much but every now in then. The funny thing is how they call and tell you that you are going to be arrested. When they first started calling I told them to mail me the backup to show who and what I owe, they told me that they could not until I at least made a payment.

I just got a called from the same number and the guy keeps saying that I owe for a payday loan from 2007. I told him to mail me the paperwork showing who I took it with and what I owe since he had my address and he stated I have to make a payment first then they will send me a letter. This is a bunch of mess. I have paid all the payday loans that I have had.

I have been getting phone calls from this number 5607338805 it is a international number. This guy said he is a officer and I will be arrested for not paying back a payday loan.He also said that my employer we be sued also. I advised him that I recently filed chapter 7. So then he said that I need to still need to pay 150 dollars for court fee and I need to be at court in jacksonville florida the next day at 9 am. I asked for the address to the court and he told me that everybody in jacksonville knows where the court is ask anybody where the court is once I get there. I know this guy is bougus because he has been calling me and my employer on and off for about a year now with the same threats he keeps changing he name every so often. I remeber the first name he gave was officer Kevin Peterson. He wants money western union or money gram to a company in florida a bogus company name. He needs to be stopped enough is enough.

My experience started back in June where he got a hold of my HR dept, my HR explained to him that he was not to call ever again then they asked him if he was calling from India - he hung on them.  LOL

Anyhow I too am a victim of this sloppy collection agency practice.  Thank you for this site for the mailing address as I will be sending a certified letter to cease ALL CALLS and file a complaint.

Kevin Peterson called me this morning threatening to arrest me for fraud. I havent commited any fraud!!! What lows these "loan officers " go through to collect!  Im assuming he is a loan officer even though he says he is a legal officer. i dont know what to do..Any suggestions?

I just got a call from the same number 2 minutes ago so i looked it up online and look what I found!  I need more information on this fair credit act.  he was accusing me of comitting credit or check fraud too.  Where do these people get off acting soo rude.

This Kevin Peterson is calling my work also with the same threats, and keep repeatidly calling my work, what can be done to make him stop.... how has everyone else dealt with him, I have seeked the advise of a lawyer they said he has to provide documentation before sending any money and he sounds bogus. I got a message today on my answering machine saying he was Kevin Peterson, and I was being sued and was going to be arrested--he never stated why.  The phone number he gave was 312-422-5133, but my caller id said 321-422-5133.  I got a similar phone call two months ago, and it really freaked me out and had me scared.  Now I get another phone call, so I googled it--and ended up here.  This guy is scary--saying even God can't help me.  What do you do about this?

The first time this guy called me he said that his name was Officer Kevin Peterson and that I was in the process of being arrested. He sent someone to my place of employment and they said that they were looking for me for a payday loan that I hadn't finished repaying. I wasn't at work that day so they left a message with one of my associates. He called me on my cell phone and he scared me so that I told him I would try to get the money and pay him as soon as possible. I paid 400 dollars and he has continued to harrass me. He called my place of employment and cursed me and my manager out. That's when I realized that he wasn't really a police officer and that all the things that he was telling me were going to happen to me were untrue. He is a bad businessman and he needs to be put out of business. I called the Jacksonville police department and made a report on him and so did my supervisor.

Well Office Kevin Peterson called me also and i really got scared in the beginning. After awhile i researched online and found this blog. I contacted the Economic Crime Unit. If you guys are still getting calls you have to contact the Dept. of Financial Services(1-800-342-2762) and also www.ftc.gov. This guy is impersonating a police officer when he is not and the is illegal. He is just a bill collector. Does anyone have a mailing address on this guy? Please let me know. If i should get the mailing address i will post on here for you. I'm sure his name is not kevin peterson by his accent.

this person called my cell phone and started cursing at me, also stated that he was going to have me arrested and call my boss at work. I hung up on him,,he called back. I let it go to my voice mail,,,again started cursing and stated that he was going to have me arrested. never I.D. himself,,his company or why he was calling me.

This man Kevin peterson called my work several times and each time getting bolder and nastier. He had everyone at my job thinking that I was going to be arrested for banking fraud. He even had our assist. manager believing that if I didn't answer the call that some how my work place would be involved in this matter. He was telling whoever answered the phone that they were liars and to quit protecting me. At first after I talked to him I was real scared because of the tone and some of the stuff that he said. That next Monday when he called I tried to tell him that I couldn't come up with the $$ He said that I was going to be sorry and that only God could help me. Well, then I got mad. I called a lawyer and the police. I changed my phone # also. The police told me about this web site. and the lawyer told me that he had broken at least 10 laws just by the little that I had told her. That night I went home and listened to all the messages on my machine before the new #. Every message from him was from a different number. Each one was worse then the one before. The last one said "You have done it now and not even God can help you now". This person and who he works for are total jerks. They say not to worry but when someone calls you at least 4 times a day at home and at work, well you tell me???

Oy! I received a call in the same manner as all of you saying that if I was really smart, I would call back and that if I think I can run, I was wrong and that they would get verification of my work address and have me arrested and that I should inform my manager that I was going to be arrested. Then when I returned the call, I couldn't get a word in. After about 5 minutes of arguing back and forth. He calmed down and listened to what I had to say.....

Then he started complimenting me on how sincere I sounded. THEN get this one.....he proceeded to hit on me over the phone. Asking what I looked like (features, height, hair color) I started to get extremely creeped out. I saved the threatening voicemail, I think I have all the conversations recorded, not sure, have to check. What can we do about this??

While at work I received a call from an Indian Gentleman if you want to call him that who proceeded to call my work number several times stating that he is an investigator and they are going to arrest me for fraudulent activity. He called back and called back each time treating one of my co-workers with foul language. He stated that they will have me arrested for a loan I did through Access Processing if I don't pay them $690.00. I told him that I don't have that kind of money. I offered to set up a payment plan he laughed at me and called me some nasty names. Who is Access Processing?
How do I get this to stop??? I am so humiliated!

A man claiming to be Officer Kevin Peterson called from 321-422-5133, left a message on my Supervisor's phone, defaming me for fraud to her. He called me again, speaking with a very thick accent yelling at me stating that I was going to be arrested for fraud.  He was very rude, calling me stupid several times, and would not let me get a word in.  The calls are unwanted and I want Kevin Peterson to stop harrassing me.

I keep getting harrassing calls from Officer Kevin Peterson from 321-422-5133 saying that I am going to be arressted for fraud tomorrow if I don't pay $800 today. I called the police and they called them and told Mr. Peterson to stop calling himself an officer of the law. what should I do to stop him from calling my job ?

It should be fairly easy to stop this.  Especially if you can actually get a person when you call the numbers back.  Simply get the person, usually the manager or business owner, to calmly tell the people calling to have their manager or business owner to put you on their Internal Do Not Call List.  This will work better if you can record the conversation or get this to them in writing with proof that they received it.  Once they keep calling you, you can report them to DNC and they are on the chopping block for the $11,000 fine.  I also think it would be a lot of fun to file harrassment charges and go after them that way.  If these people are attorneys and they are harrassing you you can always go the their state bar and file a grievance, they'll poop their pants.  I know that when I was in real estate and people requested an internal do not call list those people were off limits from then on.

This place has been calling my office looking for 1 of my field associates for 2 weeks atleast 20 times a week,Threating to have me arrested and sueing the company I work for.When I got there number and called to speak to his manager he screamed at me and threatened me over and over again.Stating that it is a law office and there is no manager.
