Same thing happened to me except he used the name James Johnson. Got almost 600 dollars from me before I started to investigate. Hopefully anyone who is reading this is doing their homework first. Don't give any money to this a**hole.

Called claiming he was from Visa Corp. Was a complete jerk on the phone. Said I was wrongfully denied credit through Visa and that he was authorized to give me a card. Complete scam.
